I have been lucky to not have to work shifts. Just work during the day. Which is good since I'm not much of a night person anymore... Mornings I can do. Past 9pm, I'm dragging.

Oh man, super fast storms this morning. I usually get up and go run but I saw we had a sever thunderstorm watch. The storms looked 2+ hours away. I said something to my wife and she said I shouldn't go run. Glad I didn't. 45 mins later it is raining sideways and crazy thunder and lightning. I would have been either in the middle or towards the end of my run, depending on the distance I decided to run, at that point... Would not have been fun.

I don't want it to be the middle of July... Stop...

PLUTO!!! the probe that was sent out to document pluto has finally gotten there...cant wait to see the photos!

yeah Pluto should be a planet....the wimpy reason for removing it from planet status would also make mercury not a planet. (it was removed because it has not 'cleared its area' which mercury did not do either---the sun did that for mercury...so no real reason for demoting pluto other than they have found other planetoids near.)

REALLY hot today...going to just stay inside and sit under the a/c...a few naps are also planned----

And back. Sort of. Actually out of town again. Went to Wi for a family reunion. I have driven a lot lately... 5 hours yesterday. 3 hours today. 4 and half hours on Friday. Plus the 3 hours last Monday and the 3 hours on Wednesday of last week. And I'll drive another 3 hours on Wednesday of this week... Way to much driving for that short of time... I am looking forward to when I don't have to drive so much to go out of town... At least the reunion was fun.

Was really hot Friday and Saturday. Sunday wasn't terrible and neither was today. But man, Friday and Saturday were almost unbearable...

yes the beginning of the weekend was pretty dang nasty....I was lucky enough to not have to go anywhere so I stayed inside under the cooling breeze of my a/c and my bedroom fan (the a/c doesnt quite make it there very well---)....

guess you are not in the boonies anymore...around big metro areas it takes time to get places....(glad you had a good reunion, I never have to worry about that...there is no one left outside my siblings to 're-un' with....have no cousins...and my grandparents were never really close to the rest of their families either and most of them are passed on now as well).

I stayed inside for the most part. Had to go make sure the car was ready for the journey on Friday and just checking tire pressure and filling up 1 tire 1 psi made me sweat... Crazy hot.

Ya definitely not in the boonies anymore. Kinda miss the boonies but I'm adjusting to life with people around.

Had a nice dip in the pool, but it's like the Texas air just got thicker. Lol. Always feels wet and steamy and then the pool just increased the feeling

Damn i wish we'd hit 70F one day here in Finland, Coldest summer in over 50years i heard..

Generally only at ~60F and raining like everyday. today were supposed hit 68F which is Warmest in weeks! Hopefully ill see the sun too

we had been having a pretty cool summer...until recently. 90F today...while I would rather have the warm than the below zero, I didnt mind the 60's we had for most of June and part of July.

Will continue to pass on the rain (though its in the forecast for most of the next week--isolated thunderstorms just about every day /sigh).

Recently it has been getting very hot. 90's degrees or higher in consecutive days now... Crazy stuff after being in mid 70's all summer so far.

We are getting some rain right now. Though not terrible. First we had in a while though.

Been hot and humid here as well. And the trend looks to continue of course. We might get some rain tonight and tomorrow with thunderstorms. We will see.

I go out for runs or walks every day so I still got to "enjoy" the heat. Definitely took my walks earlier though. 90+ degrees with high humidity does not make for a fun walk!

Ya July is almost over... Means school year will be starting back up. Will be a new thing that is for sure.

Ya the humidity is down here as well finally. We will see if it starts to cool off or not.

Nope won't be getting Fridays off. I will get an actual week long Spring Break. Going to be nice.
