nope, not planning on anything (no idea what I am making for dinner even--dont think that far ahead, no ideas for tonight even

Been married too long and together for even too much longer for it to be much more than just a normal day here (ok, its supposed to be freeeeeeezing, but that is getting to be the norm this winter here as well). Might stop by the grocery store to get some reeces hearts though (they have special ones for each holiday, though I like the pumpkins the best...)

Omg Reeses Christmas trees are fantastic! Every Christmas I look forward to the one or two my wife sneaks into a stocking for me.

And it is just a normal day for the wife and I as well. I think we're having a couple over on Friday to do a dinner/double date/drinking/shenanigans thing. Thursday my wife and I are doing our separate valentine's day date things, then Saturday we're going to be together to have another lazy date day. I think it's the most I've ever done for Valentine's day. Feels weird.

The eggs are freaking awesome. I can't get a bag because I'd eat them all, right then and there. They are sooooo delicious. So freaking delicious.

Well went in to work today. Made it through alright. Couple times my throat hurt but otherwise it just felt tight. Hopefully tomorrow it will feel even better. Early bedtime again tonight to try to do such.

Yes they are pretty dang awesome--I cant bring home too many either (unless I hide them) since my hubby will chow down on them before I even get to have one. (I DO have restraint!) and we are both trying to lose some extra pounds--chocolate is not the way to do it.
Guess I need to actually leave my house tomorrow then--gotta get some (and I have to go to the po so guess I might as well make it worth my while to get my girl out of the garage).

Well as it turns out it just stressed my throat... Back to hurting a bit again today. Really tired of this crap... I'm been gargling so much salt water I think I lowered the Pacific by a couple inches. I'm constantly using Sucrets, eating hot chicken noodle soup, drinking plenty of water, etc. Damn thing still hurts enough to be annoying. Sigh. Hopefully it will go away soon. It is the only thing that is lingering.

I leave the apartment lots, cause work and stuff. Though if I don't have to leave I don't.

seems everytime I leave--the price of gas goes up 20 cents!...should stay at home.

hope it gets better pwnd! I know how much it hurts. My cough from the cold I got on new years has finally gone--took 7 weeks. Really tired of symptoms lasting for weeks after the disease has gone.

It has been going up sadly. It leveled off around 2.39 here. Hopefully it stays there or dips again... Don't want $3 gas again.

I don't think I have done myself any favors with having to talk at work. I think it is just stressing it... Might need to call my doc on Monday if I still have it...

only went up 2 cents in the last day...not good but not really bad.
Had my massage on friday, and slept pretty well this morning too.

So that has been nice. And I have Monday off so I get an extra day of rest in as well... Just hope I can kick it soon. I might still call him since on Monday it will be over a week since I started the antibiotic. Might find out that my strain is antibiotic resistant... That would suck big time...

I preferred when it was $1.57. But that might just be me.

well, dang, it should be starting to feel better by now, so yeah, I would agree with the doc on monday as well.
$1.57 would be sweet--havent seen that in a very very long time. ($1 would be where it should be at though

Ya that has been great. We actually have been fairly busy. Went to my parents last night for dinner, so that was fun. My mom told me I do need to call my doctor Monday... Might have to get a z-pack or something to finally kick this sore throat. Guess my hay fever/allergies aren't doing me any favors.

I was pretty happy when I found $1.57, don't know if I'll see it again for awhile. Got it last night for $2.07, so I was good with that as well!

hope you are feeling better....sounds like you were NOT relaxing there!

Hubby took me out for dinner on sunday to a nice seafood restaurant and then over to a specialty chocolate shop (got some nice truffles and chocolates!). Then we played alien crossfire (alpha centuri) the rest of the weekend (I won!)...so a nice valentines day weekend for me and I have some nice chocolates to tide me over until well past easter.

Oh I did, just in between all the other things that we were doing. I'm actually on a new antibiotic now. Since my throat still hurt yesterday I called my GP who was able to prescribe me a new, stronger, antibiotic. So here is to hoping this one kicks it.

Always smart to go out the day before or after Valentines. Way to stinking busy on Valentines day to go out to dinner.

hope that that one works too (I know that I took so much penicillin when I was a kid that it no longer works for me--nor any of its 'family' '-cillins. so I can understand some of the antibiotics not doing well anylonger with some people), so good luck with it.

yeah, hubby had tried to get a reservation on saturday but found all the places he had wanted to go were booked solid, so since neither of us carried, we decided to just go on sunday instead and we had a really good homemade pizza on saturday and got to snuggle on the couch together without having to get dressed up and brave the cold--much more fun our way.

It seems to be doing the trick. My throat barely hurt today so yay!

I agree, going on a different night is more fun. Leaves the actual day to just curl up together and watch a movie or whatever. We definitely liked it better.

well its too blinkin cold here for just about anything....though I had a doctor appointment today so I got to find out how really cold it was....

and the price of gas, well...one station is down .06 from my last trip, while another is up .05

and yeah .11 difference between the 2 and only a couple of miles apart on the same road.

supposed to be almost as cold tonight...I am sooooo ready for spring. (snow for friday/saturday and possibly sunday too

Ya it has been super cold here too. The past two days have not been pleasant... Very very cold. Supposed to be warmer tomorrow but with possible snow showers. Which isn't cool... So done with the snow, cold I can handle, but snow, I'm done with it. I'm ready for spring as well.

Gas around here is sitting right around $2.30. Dunno why but it is. I'm sure it will go up again with the explosion at the California Exxon plant.

missed that in our news here...though I know of no exxon stations around here either, so perhaps that is why they didnt report it.

the snow bothers me more than the cold right now, though not a fan of either, my years in japan made me deal with being much closer to nature (meaning: they had no heat nor a/c in their schools, so whatever it was outside, it was basically the same inside)....think I am part polar bear now (have the layer of fat to prove it too

).

need to do some fixing on our car so I really want a warmer day to do that on, and dry; none of which is in our forecast for the next few days
