short work weeks are nice....really blinkin cold mornings are not! and the S word is in the vocabulary of the weatherman today as well

car is not happy about the cold either, good thing after we get the brakes done on friday on the other one she gets the garage (though the other car is not so happy about cold now either...really need to get a 2 car garage for my babies)....

and I hope you enjoy fall--winter is here now, and welcome to the midwest.

Ya they are, though two Mondays in a week is not so much fun... And yes, very cold out yesterday and today. Had a bit of the s stuff yesterday, some more apparently today, and then even more this weekend! Sigh... My wifes car isn't a big fan of the cold but apparently that is a Civic thing. Have a friend that had a Civic, same year, and it didn't like the cold. She needs a garage and it would be all dandy.

got the brakes done, and it was indeed quite nippy out today...and some of the s stuff flyin around too....

glad its the weekend, took my halloween stuff down and put out my turkeys (though they are a bit scared to be out --they hope to not be on the menu!)....then it will be time to put out the tree and xmas decorations, man, this year has flown by.

Brakes are a very important thing to have done. That is for sure. Don't want those going bad.

yepo, thats why I waited to trade cars until they were done--but with the freezing temps, had to do it NOW (and the subaru has heated seats!)
hubby has another short week next week, but have plans for him already

Heated seats are definitely nice. My Altima has them. I have definitely been using them as of late. Leather seats get coooooold!

That always drove me nuts, when I would get a day off and my wife would have 100 things for me to do... Of course that was back when she was sitting around at home all day doing nothing. Now she has a job.

my seats are cloth not leather (hate leather seats--they are cold in the winter and you stick to them in the summer).

Well, WE have stuff we need to do--xmas time is coming and there is a lot to do before then.

I didn't stick to mine in the summer mainly because I got a sunshade for my car. So it blocks out most of the sun that hits the seats when I'm not in it. Which is actually nice. Keeps it a bit cooler and I don't get burned if my skin touches the seat.

I think we had some snow this morning, but not not much. Supposed to be in the 20's the next couple days...

the fact that you could get burned from the seats is what bothers me--doesnt happen with cloth seats (and my subaru has heated cloth seats--take that toyota!).

supposed to be exceptional cold today and tomorrow (like we may get to 20 tomorrow!)....just to dang cold to do more than....nap! (seems like a good idea and I have...I think I will

Well hello there Kat. I'm pretty sure none of the PM's are from me. But I'm not 100% sure...

I do miss the old game. Used to be fun, but GW1 is pretty dead now... GW2 just isn't the same. Never could get into it like I did with GW1.

things still move here, not as much as before, but still active, and yeah, besides my computer not wanting to play gw2 (and after what I saw in the beta--not so unhappy that it felt that way either), still playing gw, found a few folks who still play and we get together from time to time. Guru still attracts enough posters to get us busy

and real life takes up the rest of my time--each year getting busier than the last (and moving quicker too).

It was fun for a while but then it just fizzled out. It might still be fun but I haven't been able to drag myself back to it... Maybe some day I will. Who knows.

The year does seem to be moving at a nice pace. Which is a good thing.

I think today we hit 30. But the wind was vicious... Made it feel like less than 10 all day... Woo... Supposed to be almost 50's this weekend with rain. What?

Very much loving that it is moving along quickly. Hoping 2nd semester does as well and that I'm able to find a new job before the year is done.

was watching the weather channel (when it was actually showing weather--eg 4am) and they showed some places in new york just south of buffalo---and man they got like 5 FEET of snow (with, yes, more on the way)...they have closed the cities basically since the plows cant even get around (and the weather channel guys are stuck at a hotel----).

yeah, supposed to be warming this weekend with rain--well rather rain than snow! (there I said the s word).

and good luck on that (again).
