We got some last night, dunno how much though. I have my wife's car, which I waxed a week ago. Still doing a fine job of looking nice and shiny.

Ya... School starts for students on Friday. I have institute Wednesday and Thursday. I was in today and I'll be back again tomorrow. So exciting...

Yup, teacher's institute today. So yay... And we have an open house tonight which means I'll be at school for over 12 hours today. Can not wait... Bye bye summer...

was a beautiful day today---too bad the mold count was soo high that my head felt like it was going to explode, supposed to get hot next week, just in time for the first full week of school

had turkey and mashed potatoes for dinner, I do really love turkey!

Today is the day the students return... Should be interesting. I like how my schedule is broken up, just hope my classes go well. Students can make a class or break it...

Looked like a nice day out. Wasn't outside to tell though... Darn institute days...

lol Its amazing how much students can influence a class. It will be an interesting year, that is for sure.

I didn't get much sleep this weekend, which is not good. Need to find a way to get more sleep in this week...

yes, gotta get back on the 'school' sleeping cycle--summers will mess with it pretty good.
Went to another doctor this week (gp suggested since my voice is still bad)....nothing major wrong, hope it clears up---in the next TWO MONTHS

well, at least I know my coughing didnt do something bad.
so I slept most of the afternoon after I got back (they numbed my nose so they could put a scope down it and roof of my mouth, my neck and part of my ear all went numb too...and then I had a sore throat the rest of the day and my allergies decided it would be a good time to assert themselves....so a nap sounded like a good plan of action).
Doc also suggested a newer nasal spray that shouldnt annoy me as much ---now I just have to find it someplace (homeopathic no prescription).

I do need to get back into it. Haven't slept well the past couple nights either. But that is for other reasons.

Geez, well hopefully it clears up before 2 months! Because that is ridiculous!

I love my nasal spray. My wife hates nasal sprays but mine does wonders for me.

glad I had no place to go today, watched the weather and the mold was off the chart with weeds pulling up a 2nd place. Supposed to be HOT for the rest of the week and into weekend and at least monday---looks like summer is here.

wish I had no place to go tomorrow since they are talking really bad storms, but have some errands to get done (and cant do any more laundry until the last group of 'dry flat' are dried).

It is supposed to be hot. Hottest it has been all summer really. And of course now school is in session. Thank goodness we have air conditioning.

It has stormed the past 2 days and they are calling for more. Haven't been able to do our bottle rocket launches due to weather. Hopefully Friday is clear enough to do it.

some really good storms yesterday/lastnight/thismorning....

I think the cell phone companies are hurting for business---got a thing in the mail from one praising me for being their customer! (

)....and of course wanting me to buy something from them (I am not their customer now nor do I have ANY plans in the future either).....

spent the morning putting away most of my japan films...only have one more set to send in and get digitized....then putting labels on them on the computer. (of course I have to remember where I took some of them too, good thing I took pretty dang good notes on those trips since its been almost a decade since I took most of them---though I dont think I have the names of all the temples and shrines I visited if I ever did

).

We had some storms roll through yesterday morning. Lots of rain, thunder, and lightening. Also meant I got soaked when I got into work... No way to avoid the monsoon.

I actually read an article that they are starting to drop their prices to be more competitive with one another. o.O Drop their prices?!?! The only way they have ever gone was up! So ya, I think they are realizing they are losing to the pay-as-you-go phones.

I spent the morning teaching since it rained. Couldn't launch our bottle rockets...

had some good storms again yesterday too....and the humidity was horrible! was much nicer when the front moved past (though still had the humidity bleh).

hahahaaa drop prices that's a good one....I think the only thing dropping in price is the value of my cars!

I think they said we might get a few days er or just perhaps monday without another monsoon.....perhaps that would be a good day for the rockets.

Ya we had good storms roll through as well. We went and saw Guardians of the Galaxy and right after we got to the theater it started to just storm like crazy. Buckets and buckets of rain. Tons of thunder and lightening. But the theater didn't lose power so we got to see the movie.

Nope, its true. Sprint has already started dropping them and they are also getting rid of their Framily plan.

We are planning to launch on Monday. Hopefully it stays nice.

yeah had some spotty rain the other day...had an acupuncture appointment and when I got out it just started ....drove for a bit (was going to subway for lunch) and it poured buckets (could barely see the person driving in front of me), by the time I got to the subway it was just a drizzle, got my sandwich, got back in the car and another downpour....all the way home, good thing I had the garage for the week! (and I didnt need to water the herbs outside either

I'm not surprised it never took off.

It had just started when we drove to the theater, I dropped her off and parked and it was coming down a bit harder. If we had waited 5 more minutes we would have been soaked! Thank goodness we left when I said we should.

yes, timing is everything (glad you didnt get soaked--being wet in a cold movie theater is not my idea of a good afternoon).
