Figures, Malice comes back to say hi and I'm gone again! Was at the wife's family reunion this weekend. It was fun but it also was a lot of people whom I had to try to get to know. Definitely was intimidating at times. Definitely glad to be home now though!

Tour de France would be boring imo. Oh look! Guys riding bikes! YA! But that is just me.

well, even though there was no rain scheduled for today, I watered my potted plants and yes, then about 2 hours later it rained (plants didnt seem to mind)....no rain scheduled for the next 3 days so we shall see if those pesky weather forecasters are wrong again!

That sounds really nice actually Malice. I love the country just for that reason. Not being near the hustle and bustle of the city life.

Isn't that known as escargot? Not sure if I could bring myself to do it.

Ya cycling is not my thing. Really neither is NASCAR, F1, or Indy Car. Unless you want me to fall asleep during that. Oh and golf. Blah.

Ya probably over 20,000 of my posts are from the OTA. I remember making a very good argument as to why it should maintain post count, but sadly I lost out. Oh well. Post count isn't everything. Is fun to be the top poster though.

At least the top legitimate poster, not one of those hacks that has over 3,000,000 thanks to a glitch.

I check cause I'm a mod, but really there isn't much going on to mod. So I check cause I enjoy talking to cosy, Perk, RR, and azzer. And you, Malice, when you jump on.

yes, its nice and quiet here...sometimes a weeeeeeeee bit too quiet, but in my old age, I am enjoying the 'slower' pace of life

and another hot one for today, a/c has been on most of the morning already, never got cool last night .....welcome summer back to the usa (think its just about got the whole country right now)

and its easy to look up counted post counts as well as join dates, etc....just gotta know which links to use.

Better than having a bunch of pre-teens in here constantly posting about whatever... The slow paced thread is definitely nice. I like it.

Very hot again today. Apparently it is 91 but feels like 98. Yuck. Going to make my walk later really hot.

Well I called a guy about a car, got told he was out, but that he would be returning in 15-20 mins. That was 2 hours ago...

Love waiting by the phone.

and yeah, it was already close to 90 when I went out to run my errands for today (another 2 shower day)....though one of those bank clock/temp things said it was 99!

Well the guy finally called me back 2 hours later. Got the information I need and he is going to call me next week when the car is done. So we might have a car next week.

another hot one today, went out to water my herbs...geesh already hot at 8am! /sigh

though looks like there is a front going to swing by on the weekend, to be followed by yet another hot week...guess we were spoiled with the cooler weather we had thru the end of june. (not by the excess of rain though).

Ya haven't had much of that around here either... Just darn hot.

It felt like 90 something at 9am. Glad I choose not to run. Partially cause it was hot and the other part because I slept awful. Oh well.

Going to my parents house to day to swim with my nephews. Great way to cool off.

Well since I might buy a car from him of course he is going to call me back. He wants to sell the car.

Well we are in day 6 I believe of 90+ weather with tomorrow possibly making 100. Hopefully they are right and Saturday it will be flushed away with Thunderstorms. We have had 15 days of 90+ already this year and we usually don't get them until August.

Ya it is supposed to be cooler Saturday here as well. Only in the mid-80's, which is better than the mid-90's. Though swimming on hot days is awesome.

2 bats huh? Not sure I would want those in my house.
