Bracing for a "Doom's Day" winter storm Weds. night thru Thurs. night. Looking for something like 3 to 9 inches. Love the weather forecasters. Nice wide range, so they are "never" wrong.

yeah, weathermen have one of the best jobs--you can ALWAYS be wrong and STILL keep your job!!
I can remember a few of those 'storm of the year' types that...well, just never happened! (one was supposed to be a 1'+ snowstorm...it wond up being a beautiful SUNNY day instead!)
though this year is NOT the year to be on the east coast...they have gotten hit with just about any and all storms passing by.

Ya we are supposed to get hit Thursday night with some snow. Should be interesting to say the least. Hoping it isn't bad enough to close school. Already down one of our "spring break" days. >.>

Welp got through some of work today okay before I started to feel like crud again... Oh well. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

Each prediction is getting worse as we go. Now up to 22" in our neighborhood. Living out here in the country, could be 3 or 4 days before they dig us out. Yuck.

I looked last night and they said about an inch here. Though the students are all saying 6-11 inches. I am going to go ahead and guess an inch. Maybe an inch.

Been snowing about 4 hours now and close to 8" on the ground. Looks like a break in the snow about another 2 hours out. Looks great since I don't have to be out there. We need the moisture.

looks like they have added some chance of snow to our forecast (80% late tonight, 30% tomorrow)...with a 1-3" possibility...so nothing to worry about here.
watched the weather on the tv...looks to be a pretty bad storm down by st louis...glad I am not there. (and looks to be coming your way pwnd!)

What snow? Haven't had but a dusting so far here today. Don't know if it is going to get much worse or not. They say it will but meh, who knows.

yeah we got about....2" of snow, and it stopped snowing so I think that's it.
but the good news is: ITS FRIDAY!!!

gotta work on the hubby's old gaming rig again this weekend....have some 'case modifications' to make and then we should be able to get him up and running again.

Looks like we got about 10" of the white stuff. Glad there was no serious wind with it. The wife can get out tomorrow for work.

Calling for a little more snow Sunday into Monday.

The storm here is for Saturday night into Sunday and what was a possible 6 to 8 inches now could be mostly rain with some snow at the end. Living near the coast most times there is a rain snow line depending on the track of the storm. 10 miles can mean the difference rain and a foot of snow.

We got 2" here as well. Lots of wind but not bad enough to keeps us out of school/work for the day. Which I was perfectly fine with.

yeah some really bad juju out east....good luck with the next storm rr (and any one else out east).
though I seem to remember some people asking for rain last year--
(be careful what you wish for--you may get it, just not when or exactly as you wanted it).

Rain that turns to ice, not so good. We got snow and ice so when I went to clear my car off I had to clear off the snow then chip away the ice. Not cool...
