The last wedding I was at, everyone was in a suit and tie. Except the women of course. So ya, who knows. But girls are always cold it seems.

Girls are always cold, all i've ever been with physically has been cold and needed warmth, even in the summer time, also i've never been to a wedding ever, which saddens me a little bit.

Also urgh Zombies, not a cool concept to me plus i get nightmares when i see anything creepy.

I have rarely had a suit and tie on, 1 was my confirmation (it's like a bar mitzvah just the christian version) and to my grandmothers funeral and when i was godfather for my niece and "father" to my friends son, (father meaning a person that's important in the parents life)

I've been to a few weddings. They aren't usually all they are cracked up to be. Just sayin'.

Never been a zombies fan either. They don't scare me I just don't seem to care for them. Weird way to explain it I guess.

I only wear a suit and tie when I have too. Weddings normally. No funerals yet luckily.

been to my share of weddings as well as part of a few.
been to more than enough funerals as well

I am not always cold, usually quite the opposite

(I dont even wear a coat until it goes below 30 here, and then its only a wind breaker!)
girls play the 'cold' card and you guys miss its purpose???

no idea about the zombie thing you are talkin about (things for me I have blocked might be).....though I do like the plushies from the plants vs zombies game ---me likey the plants!!!

my tree is up and has more decorations than limbs! (I need a bigger tree...for my stuff probably multiple trees

), my cards are ready to go to the post office, still have to wrap stuff that I have to take to said place though---one gift was supposed to come on saturday, but the seller sold it to someone else so I am out a gift (and I had even paid for it--how exactly do you sell the same thing twice without knowing you did it?????).

well I am officially DONE with my part of this super silly holiday.
My cards are all mailed,
the gifts I wish to send are all mailed,
my decorations are all up (ok I still have a few stuffies trying to find places...but these places are pretty dang full already),
I have bought all the gifts I am going to get for my family (hubby is on his own for his strange brood).
I have even gotten the door decoration and put it up on our door (and boy, our house smells really nice since its balsam and cedar!).
so, outside of the gifts for hubby, I am done (gotta wait to wrap those...

).

and very glad to be done too

well you still have a few more days...

had my massage today...really enjoy having them and my neck feels so much better afterwards....I highly recommend them!!

so I spent most of my day relaxing and enjoying NOT having anything pertinent to get done now.

now I am planning on making a few xmas cookies...and some chocolate chips ---gotta have chocolate chip cookies!!

hmmm, having around 0 money since day 1 of this month i have had no luxury to buy christmas gifts at all, also i don't like how commercialised christmas has become, now i am no christian at all, but christmas should be about your family and having fun together, not decorating a tree, not giving present but rather to be with family and loved ones and have a merry time.

But some one feels different, especially stores

they see holidays as extra profit nothing else.

I'm still with my family on Christmas but we enjoy doing those things together. Thus why it works.

there are many feelings about christmas.
some people think its about being with your family (azzer, pwnd), others feel its about giving--time, money, etc, some feel its about showing how they feel--decorating, doing community work, etc...and then we have the religious people .....and finally, the business who only see $$ or €€ and try to exploit everything little thing in people lives (be they good things or bad).

as for where I fit?? I dont. I am not a fan of this holiday any longer, I agree with you azzer its too commercialized, but I do enjoy putting up my lights and decorations for myself since no one visits me (my preference). The holiday is for kids more now that anything else in my opinion. I never believed in santa (3 older brothers of the right age is enough to convince any kid of the lack of something), and now its all about gifts. Well I have just about all I really need, stuff that I want is too expensive (even for me) to buy. Little kids still enjoy the gifts and the naivete of belief in santa, I just dont see my needing to be a part of that.

so enjoy the holiday the way you wish--I do.

Ya, I need to go out at some point and see if I can't see it. Don't know if I will be able to or not. Not sure if it is cloudy out right now or if it is clear. Guess I'll have to go check.

hubby went out and saw quite a few...and big ones (had to drive quite far though).

was talking to my sister today--she is sooo funny, we were talking about party-ing that is going to go on later this year ( the 20th- party likes the worlds gonna end, the 21st-party because the world IS going to end, 22nd--party because the world DIDN'T end, 23rd the christmas eve EVE party, 24th-christmas eve party, 25th-christmas party, 26th-boxing day party heck why not, 27th--recooperation day, 28th-the friday party before new years, 29th-saturday party before new years, 30th-the new years eve EVE party, 31--new years eve party, 1st, new years party, 2nd the day after... so party time from the 20th on)...
my sister was thinking about the world ending--since its happening on a friday, what time of day is it expected to happen? does she need to get up and get ready for work, go to work, make dinner....etc or can she just sleep in the night before ...she is so silly.

I didn't go out and see any. Was too cold and overcast. So that was sad. Supposed to be more tonight but it is overcast again tonight. Oh well...

Oh geez, end of the world stuff. Not happening. Sounds like she likes to party though, that is for sure lol
