Sorry to keep you waiting cosy, I went to the schools girls JV bball game tonight. My freshman were asking me to go to one. The eval went pretty well I think. I'll find out more when I have my post-eval. That is when I found out if I get to keep my job or not. But I think it went pretty well so ya, here is to hoping.

lol....16 months is a very short amount of time (think of what you were doing 16 months ago?)...and planning a wedding--those months will fly by!

good to hear some good news (talked to one of my friends today--he thinks his job is on the way out, and a lady friend of his-her husband just lost his job---yeah, this recession is over ---NOT!!!)

did more cleaning today...never knew we had some of the stuff I cleaned!!

now I am listening to my hair dryer ...a very soothing sound for me...makes me want to nap (buy my hair is still wet!!!

seeeee what I mean??? and with a big event to plan---it will seem like a very VERY short amount of time! (just ask your lady--she will say that there is a LOT to do in such a short amount of time).
ah, I remember planning mine...was a royal pain as we were getting married in a different state than we were living, so had to do it all over the phone long distance (NOT a suggested way of doing things).....I had no one to go dress hunting with (my mom had already retired to florida many years before I got married even)....

it was a long time ago, and many miles away.

I know there is a lot to do. She keeps asking me stuff!

We are getting married up by her parents, which is not where we are. At least not for a while anyways. So that will make it a bit harder. Though we have her parents and her sister to help us out. Especially since her sister just had a wedding almost 2 years ago in the same area. Makes it easier.

at least you are still in the same state (and its only a few hours drive) mine was a 30 hour drive away (or 2+hours on a plane)....so tripping up north on the weekends isnt really bad (heck I used to do that commute every weekend

really hate fed ex...left a box of computer stuff for my hubby yesterday outside (it was raining)...simply idiots! (and the sender was even more of an idiot to NOT ask for a signature on electronics!!)....

.

well got most of my tax forms...to get the last one I will need to have hubby print it out (the line--they take numbers and sit and wait, kinda like getting your drivers license renewed---at the irs place was about 30 people--and to get that ONE form you had to wait in the line that helps ALL people with irs problems)...decided I really didnt need it that badly and I got the main form and instructions so I can fill it out and mail that (the other form will just wind up being a copy--toobad).
now to fill in the 6 or so lines and make copies and copies and then them thar taxes will be done (by mid february

)....

Ya, we are thankful for that. Even still, we aren't huge fans of driving 3 hours to get stuff set up.

FedEx? Ya, never had very good luck with them. Just not a fan. Prefer UPS personally, those drivers seem better here then FedEx.

I am glad I can do my taxes on my own. For now anyways.

This week was long...Doing 8am-8pm 3 days in a row is annoying. I don't have the time to really do anything when I get home >.>

So today, the temperature was around -10°C. If it's that freezing, I want my snow !

snow....nope, had some a while back....rain ...now that we have had, its been a very strange winter this year (and red, you can keep that nasty cold weather and snow)....think they said alaska got hit by 15 FEET of snow in some places

!!!

I like my change of seasons, but I dont need that really cold stuff or the white stuff to make me think its still winter (and for the record, February is usually the coldest month--so there is still time left!!)

Haven't had snow in quite sometime either. Been a pretty mild winter to say the least.

8am-8pm? Try 3 nights of 7am-7:30-8ishpm... That sucks too. So I know how you feel Red!

all the good old days....I remember in grad school I would get up for work a 5am (started at 6..) after that is was classes until ~5pm...then work at school (was on a stipend)...and get home around 11:30pm....monday, wednesday and friday....tuesdays and thursdays I had no am work so it was only classes in the morning and school work in the evenings....I remember gettting home and thinking 'there was SOMETHING I forgot to do today--ah, yes EAT!...too tired, will do that tomorrow' and would fall into my bed.
I lost a good deal of weight that semester.....probably the last time I looked good too

ah well...

I always make sure I eat. It is extremely unhealthy not too so I try too eat when I'm supposed to. Portion control is the best thing to help me lose some weight I think.

yeah, I have been cutting back on the size of meals...though I am still only eating 2 meals a day (I am not 'active' so 3 meals would be too much calories)....and am currently trying to get myself to not be hungry when I should be sleeping! (somehow I got used to eating at the wrong time--now my tummy growls at me at the wrong times!).

am not losing weight, however; and finally found out why--and until its corrected weight loss isnt really on the table

(and found out the reason for my upset stomach too---).

It is amazing how much I walk around really. Even though I teach all day, I am up moving around the room. Makes for a LOT of walking. Which is good. Though I need to get back to working out.

I hope whatever is causing you to have an upset stomach and making you unable to lose weight can be taken care of soon cosy.

since I have had the problem for some time...they say at least 2 years

...so it's gonna be a while.

When I was teaching I did tons of walking (my office was on the first floor, most of my classes were on the 4th--and yeah--japan--NO ELEVATORS!!)....you would have thought that with not only walking to my train, running around the train stations to catch the right trains, walking from the station to the school as well as walking between classes et.al. I would have lost weight....however, when I was teaching at the jh level, we ate with the students --which meant student lunches made for growing jh kids packed with lots and lots of carbs and calories to keep the little rug rats pumped (they didnt need it really)....so yep, I gained.....ah well... I had a good time mostly.

We did the brown bag lunches for my hs months--but it was already too late by then.

sigh.
