REALLY? what do you know about me?? did you live my life? i'm sorry to be such a b_tch right now... but i just got home from a day of school and 2 hours of work at mc d's, serving 'old folks' who think they know me. maybe because i wear a name tag?
while you sit down at your dinner this thursday thank god you don't live my life. with a slightly alcoholic mother who spends your child support on booze and cigs. yep i get to cook all day thursday for her and her friends to come over drink beer bought with the money dad sent to buy us clothes.
i think you better pray that i am invincible, where do you get off being my shrink? you are the one with the paper bag on your head. i know you say your older than me but the only two members of this forum i met in person was unlucky slayer and inti melch eye.
so let's all get to know each other and cut out the i know better just because i am older than you crap. or am i supposed to crawl into that bottle with my mom because oh crap she is 47 years old she must know better?

Oh geez, settle down. You are easily ruffled. I was just commenting on your idea that you take self-defense classes at the YWCA so no one can get you. No need to get defensive. And you work at McDonalds? Yikes, pass on that. People are assholes to fast food workers. Definite pass on that one!
Wasn't using the "because I'm older than you card", was just saying what I thought. And I'm not saying drown your life away, just making a joke and observation. So take a deep breathe and remember, it's just the internet!

well, moving on....
made turkey quesadillas for dinner (had some beef in there too)...turned out quite nice.
still have the dang virus (thinking its not a cold now--fever and sore throat are back)...and if its a virus--there aint nothin' I can do about it but let it run in course (since the silly medical industry has been spending more time on ED and mens hair loss than cancer and the common cold----).
bleh.

Omg I am rolling because of that! That is awesome cosy! Freaking hysterical! I'm sorry you are still sick, it took me a good week to get rid of my throat problem, but that is the funniest thing I have seen all day!
Dinner? Chicken and fries. Real healthy!

glad I made your day pwnd...but the more and more I watch tv ads for craap like that....the more I am aware that no advances toward curing things like cancer and the common cold have been made. (more painfully aware this last week or so---)
I talked to my sister in florida today and she says I should go and see a ears-nose-throat doctor, seems she had a similar bug and they gave her some drugs that actually HELPED...everytime I go to a doctor I am basically told to 'grow a pair' and deal with it. (or totally ignored....think I need a new doctor, and seeing as my current one is NOT in the 'new' plan my hubby's company is moving to, it might be a good time to ).
...and if I am supposed to be getting stronger....I should currently be stronger than the terminator from all the crud I have had to deal with (..this year alone!).....a bad week would be an improvement this year--
oy, time to die on the couch watching reruns of who knows what in my fevered state.
(and thanks for the concern for my well being--it does actually make me feel a bit better)

I'd find a new doctor then. Sounds like the one you are going to now just wants your money and could give to shakes about your actual health. Not a good doctor at all.
Well today and tomorrow then break. So ready.

oh yeah....I cant get enough turkey...so I bought extra when I bought the t-day bird. There are so many wonderful tasty dishes you can make with turkey! (this ad brought to you by the turkey sellers association )
spent the day with the insurance companies...consolidating policies......but after a few more pieces of paperwork, I think we have it!
back to the regularly scheduled laundry ......

first real day off and i slept in, must be something, i woke up with a muscle ache in my upper back. my right eye is given me trouble no not the eyeball but my eye lid is all twitchy and there is something real grodie going on with my plumbing. so i think i caught something maybe embola? hehe
ok pwnd i tend to think like cosy. i am not much into doctors myself. they are usful to a point. once they start wanting to cram drugs down my throat i tell them what train to be under. i am an all natural person. i stay away from beef and pork and eat fish and skinless chicken. this is why thanksgiving sucks and you are better to have the leftovers since that turkey will grow on you in all the wrong places. depending on your motab most people shouldn't eat more than 7 oz of meat a day and there are other sources for protein. i drink a special k for breakfast.
cosy lots of water, watch the diet and exercise. if that doesn't work for you, i know some jersey doctors that will have those cybernetic implants up and running for you in no time! but i suggest you sick with the water and bed rest for now.

thanks, .....I usually only drink water (or tea) and have had so much I think I spend more time in the bathroom than at my computer.
meat: we dont usually have it, waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back (before pwnd and epic were born) when grocery shopping I found that meat was expensive! veggies: cheap and rice, heck a whole bag (5lbs) for pennies!!! thus started the stir-fry dinners....when I started living with my bf (now spouse) we continued on this way since we both had a very very limited budget (college kids we were)....didnt eat fish--it was pretty horrible back then and couldnt afford to go to a real grocery store for real food.
as time passed--we really didnt miss meat that much, hubby is italian partially so lots of pasta had come our way.
in the last decade grocery stores have updated their 'freshness' of fish and meats...and organic produce has become more affordable. We still dont eat meat often (perhaps once a week) and try to eat fish once a week.....
I dont think I could eat 7oz of meat in one sitting...thats a huge portion! and jersey is a weee bit of a drive from here, but thanks for the offer!

7oz is huge, but you got to remember where i work i see people scarf down two ΒΌ pound grease burgers for supper. that's 8oz of beef before they go home and eat something with more grease. is it any wonder that the us is like number on in over weight people?
i sat through 'level up' on cartoon network to make nice with my brother the troll. he kept yakking during the comercials how cool this movie was. it was the story of 3 teen in an mmorpg who make a clan together in game and quite by accident attend the same school in real life. then they unleash game monsters into our universe. now if that plot doesn't smell bad enough... cartoon network have made it an online game and plan to use this movie to launch a series.
i asked my little brother if he liked it so much why he doesn't play guild wars. honesty i was trying to be nice to him. he said... 'guild wars sucks c*ck and if i really want to play online mom will buy me wow.' i left the room.
ironically she would, he already has a 360 with a gold membership on it. meanwhile i play guild wars and the only reason i have internet is because of him. sad but true.

I don't do doctors much either. They are expensive but sometimes their drugs can help. Sometimes. But ya, they can be like mechanic's where they try to tell you all these things are wrong and you need this and that to fix it. Whatever.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I hope you all have a wonderful day full of football, family, friends and turkey induced coma's!

yes...happy t-day for those who celebrate. Have a good time with your family and friends.
my bird is thawed, the breadsticks are risin' and the pie...has a crust (so far)....no plans for comas or doctors trips in my near future.
(and my doctor is more like---there is NOTHING wrong with you, even if I come in with a fever, rash, blood gushin'....I usually have to be very very explicit as to what I have, eg I tell her I have xyq disease and she then agrees, heaven forbid she should come up with a diagnosis on her own).

well i don't know about sugar comas but i imagine once all the laxative i baked in those pies kicks in, the bathroom won't be big enough.
just kidding... but it would have been a good joke, but i am not evil enough to pull that one off.
i wish everyone a happy thanksgiving even to those who don't celebrate it or understand it! cosy you might like trying to teach kids at my school. one student last week thought it was a global holiday. duh?! we had to explain to him that it was a us holiday because it was in honor of the pilgrims who sailed here from england. his response to this was... so then they celebrate it in england?
yes they were very happy to see us leave...

You could get away with it by saying the turkey must have been undercooked.
