Woooooo Tim? Who is Tim? And how does Slayer know who this person is? Second, ass is a foul word? Last I checked it stood for a donkey. Oh that is right, it does! Shame on you for having a dirty mind!
I can't be that dangerous RR, I can't ban anyone.
I was required to be at parent teacher conferences for 3 hours, 5-8. No conferences set up, just who ever came in could talk to us. Had the more tonight and saw maybe 8 parents... Good times really.
Why for some reason do I want to say Slayers name is Tim??? Or maybe that was Stalker...

I dont recall mentioning anything about a private conversation....I think its just a troll, and its working.
so ignoring that interruption....had sushi for dinner....and the weather is getting colder--no snow in the forecast, but something about freezing temps over night, guess its time to cut the last of the herbs and dry them for future use.
gee, sounds like you had a blast pwnd....required, ewww....though its high school so, I guess it would be different than the lower level ones (my parents had times set up they had to be at---and with 6 kids in school--you can imagine trying to synchronize that!) good thing about going to that horrible private school--no p-t conferences! they really didnt care!
its almost friday!!!!

well....we had a very fulfilling day....we actually bought stuff ..in the FIRST store we went to ....and we got just about everything he wanted to get (minus one item that has been on his list for 2 years now and another he wants to go to a specific store to get).
very promising day, even got some chocolate (mmmmmm chocolate)...and had an early dinner (desert is setting on my counter, will eat it later --after I stop feeling like I am gonna burst at any moment).
miracles DO happen!

Happy to hear you had a successful shopping adventure cosy. I am not much for clothes shopping I usually trust my wife for that. Well here I go again, we are supposed to have as they have been calling it an "Historic Storm" tonight. My area is in the 4 to 8" range with over a foot west of here. It won't be good as the leaves are still on the trees, so we could have big problems.

Watching the Illinois-Penn State game shows some snow. So it looks like it is headed your way RR. Stay safe and I hope it isn't too bad.
Took the girlfriend to see Wicked last night. Was a very good show. We had a lot of fun. (I'm not one for musical's but I did enjoy it!)

i am not a cynic. there are hundreds of these asshats on every street corner in every town and 9 chances out of 9 if you have the time to spy on them they will return to a decent car when they leave the area. give him the can food if you feel the same then and tell him to sell his car. some vets do fall on hard times but most are way to proud to beg. the va hospitals are there to help.
visiting chicago my family was approached 3 times by men wanting money and one was well dressed and his story was he needed cab fare because the valet parked his car and lock his keys and wallet inside. believable you say? just one problem we just parked our car in the same facility and there was no valet parking. we had to park it ourselves.
also tis the season for begging by phone, door to door, and at the local store. i drop my money in the salvation army kettle because i trust them. others i won't give the time of day. most people don't know these 'charities' can keep up to 90% in administrative costs. so only 10% goes to the cause. this is perfectly legal for them to do.
i am not saying to be the grinch or scrooge. just when you give know your cause. don't give to unknowns. research or better yet find someone you know really needs it by visiting a homeless shelter in person. ask about homeless families not individuals. hand the money or gift to the head of the family not the shelter.
sorry for the rant you can go back to whatever you do here.

I went past 2 "homeless" people today. They both had nicer clothes than some of my students at school. One had a very fat wallet as well. The second one had a sign that said he was "hungry." This was as he munched on some chicken. I could not stop laughing... But yes, that is something that annoys me. Just shows how lazy people are. There are jobs out there for them to take, they may not be the "perfect" job or the highest paying job, but they will help pay the bills. People need to stop expecting everything to be perfect and always go right for them. How you deal with adversity shapes who you are.

The storm is over but has left quite a mess. We had about 4 or 5" of heavy wet snow which brought down a bunch of trees and branches onto wires. We didn't lose power but parts of our town did and the state as a whole has over 600,000 out. The central and western part of the state had up to 2 feet.
We give to local charities for Thanksgiving and Christmas as we know it will go to local people in need.

thats a pretty good dumping of snow for this time of year---I do remember a halloween or two when I was a kid that had snow, so its not unheard of for it to happen this time of year, but usually it doesnt stay around....me'thinks its gonna be a baaaad winter (goes to check on winter boots and snow shovels----)

Wow, that is crazy RR. Glad that you guys didn't lose power and are okay. 2 feet in some places before November... Crazy. They are calling for a bad winter this year. Should be interesting... Could be lots of snow days.

lol True, I'm not a fan of having to make them up but the days off are welcome sometimes. And yes, RR can keep the snow for now. I'm good without it until 2nd semester.

All I have heard all day is the sound of chainsaws. The sun has been out so we are getting a lot of melting. It looks worse than Irene, but at least we didn't lose our power again.
