having to deal with idiots REPEATEDLY will make you enraged....these are the same people who decided to paint the interior walls (no ventilation) in march while is was still freezing outside---and all our doors open into this common area---had a headache for days.
They hire people to do the shoddiest work around (can you say lowest bid wins?)...and they have been doing this for years---angry was the first year or two, upset came next , infuriated and enraged is where we sit now.
(oh yeah I have my heat detector inspection on tuesday---I think if I were to ask 100 people off the street what a heat detector is/if they have one/seen one---95 of them would say no....)

and drivers license for 6 years, not 1 accident, not even a minor 1. 1 year more and i get an "elite" stamp.

I have had my drivers licenses for 7 years now. I still have to wait another 2 years (or until I get married) to get my rates to drop. Which sucks...

I'm one of the old cogers here---had my license since before some of you were even born! (got mine in 1982)....now I need to go an find my teeth so I can naw on some tasty digestive biscuits....(now where did that cane go to------)

idiots are part of life, some just make your life more....er,....uhm....yeah--difficult. These are just sitting on the raw nerve and making me more really mad....but next month there is nothing planned, the painting and inspections will be past---and it will all just be a bad nightmare I have every few days-----------

oh yeah, sushi last night, one of my friends wanted to take me out since I had been sick...so we went to his favorite place...was tasty (and made me forget about the idiots for a while too).

I had Avanti's last night. Got some Italian beef. I prefer Beef Villa's but it wasn't bad.

Got my cars coolant flushed today. It was realllllllllly bad. But the guys there were awesome and did a great job. I was amazed at how good they were since I went to a Speedlube and not an actual mechanic's. But they did a great job and were knowledgeable about it. Now I don't have to worry about it.

yeah I have some car up-keep on my fall todo list as well....but that will wait until the acorns have stopped and the cold weather (the s word) have started. Then we change cars and I can let the corolla be out of service for a day. (gotta change the oil too---

Mother freaking a.... I had a nice fan that just feel and broke. Now I have to get a new one and fans aren't freaking cheap. ><

ah...did the fan thing earlier this year (had my old one since the '70's....after much trying, we decided the ball bearing probably gave)....did the fan finding thing--got a nice one that you can set to different heights and 3 speeds....didnt cost that much ($20?)....lowes or home depot or meinards....(though ace had a bunch too).....

the problem now would be they arent out anylonger--fan season is basically over.

I'll have to look at the hardware stores then. I was looking at like Wal-Mart and stuff but they wanted like $35 for a crappy box fan. Pass. My gf is saying that they will be going on "sale" soon. I hope so cause it was rough sleeping last night with out a fan... I need my white noise.

.....though I also have 2 white noise machines (cant use a fan in the winter here--heat barely gets into the bedroom let alone get it to a bear-able temp).
spend a few minutes looking online before you go out---you will find where a cheaper one is in your area.

Looks like Target is the cheapest area to be honest. Even better than Wal-Mart. I'll go fan shopping this weekend with my gf.

Got my first full Ameren-Cilco bill. $105. Not bad right? Right. Now here is the cool thing. $50 of that is a deposit that I am required to make on my first 3 payments. So realllllly, it is a $55 energy bill. Ballin'.

I know right?!?! Actually our Governor finally did something right. He vetoed a bill to raise electric cost. Shocking but true!

Don't want a box fan. Do not like them.

Wasn't as warm as they predicted thankfully. Could have been worse.

Hmm, i do not gives a rats arse about age, if people are 12 or 65, i can talk with them and have fun, i'm good at adapting very quickly to situations.

We got election on thursday, atleast our election campaigns don't cost millions of dollars, and it's rare to see politicians here bash eachother, instead they say what THEY want to change, i like that style, i might not agree with some politicians, but they are trying atleast.

and hubby had to be up all night (just went to bed an hour ago) for work--doing IT stuff while no one is on the servers....so neither of us have had any sleep (headache already started)...gonna be a looooooooong day

going to try my hand at making a souffle this week...think I did one waaay back in grad school, havent made one since then....going to try a spinach one with cheddar cheese

....great now I made myself hungry too! /sigh

(we dont talk politics here....but lets just say, that politicians raise more money than our national debt!---if that money were just put to solving issues---------------)

my heat detector passed its test with flying colors (since it does nothing anyways---).

got a nice nap in this afternoon.

we are making homemade mac&cheese with hot dogs (left over from the 8 pack--why cant they sell stuff for 2 people????? was at the grocery store the other day looking for those single veggie packs green giant makes--peas, corn, etc.....seems my grocer has decided not to carry them anymore, instead they now have the 2lb packs of veggies!!! how in the world am I supposed to eat 2lbs of peas????????? I barely like them to begin with
