Priests of Eris: Putting the Laughter in Slaughter for almost 2 years.

Our small PvE-oriented guild, Priests of Eris, is seeking friendly, active members.

What you get:
* This lovely, luxurious cape, green and grey quartered with a gold celtic knot, constructed with the finest craftsmanship and materials!
* Scenic Wizard's Isle guild hall complete with silly folks who stand around allll the time and are ready to trade, hold your junk, or be minions in a battle, that sort of thing. Not quite a complete set of lackeys for the guild hall, yet, but working on it.
* Access to the COOLEST green channel in the game. Silliness and mayhem flow freely, so if you're overly serious, beware. We are priests of the lady of chaos, after all.
* The best of both worlds. We are a small, friendly guild, extremely helpful, homey atmosphere, all that. At the same time, we are members of United Legit Game Guilds Kurzick II Alliance, which is huge, with several of its guilds having been featured on Arenanet's GW site.
* Soon to be Ventrilo capable, we hope!
* Friendly guild members. While most of us are very engaged in the game at the moment and can't always drop what we're doing to help, to the extent possible we're ready and able to assist in whatever ways we can. VERY newbie-friendly. Officers and several members have all 3 campaigns and will help with missions and quests if arranged in advance, and frequently on the spur of the moment, as well. We don't claim to be experts, but we've been round Elona, Cantha and Tyria and we're definitely helpful. In addition, I've never seen a call for help on the Alliance channel ignored.
* No agendas. We're not looking to convert you to anything, sell you anything, or anything. We don't require you to donate faction (though you're more than welcome) or items. We just want cool people to hang out with and do stuff with.
* At the moment, we're really pretty inexperienced at PvP. We're just getting to the point where we have enough people at high enough levels to do some GvG and we're currently participating in weeklyy skirmishes with a practice partner [RoMS]. We also do some AB and this week our first go at HA (and discovered that they don't call it HA! for nothing). But after all, we're in it to have fun. What are friends for if not to slaughter??? Learn with us and have fun in the process. And die. A lot.

What we need from you:
* Friendliness. We like people who talk on guildchan, even if it's to complain about the quest you're on so we can all sympathize (been there, done that). Sense of humor a huge bonus.
* Willingness to play the game. If you want someone to "give you stuff," you're probably best off looking elsewhere. Our philosophy: if you want it, play the game to get it. We enjoy the process and think players should play, not "cheese" (i.e. buy their gold on eBay, pay someone to run them to high level places so they can dress their level 4 in Drochs (the best armor in Prophecies) and "pwn" in the Ascalon RA arena.) So if you want some high-level item, chances are we haven't got it to hand out. But!! We will be happy to do a run with you to get it. And die. A lot. (Seeing a theme here? We pride ourselves on our excellent ability to rescue a mostly dead party!)
* Join the forums and look at them once in a while.
