Servants of Fortuna [SoF] is recruiting mature members!
When you browse GW forums, you will sometimes see posts from players who are frustrated by random groups lacking any sort of team-work or strategy, and who are looking for an active and organized guild with competent players who are genuine, and have some humor. We trust many of them would be very happy Servants of Fortuna.
We're not obsessed with rank, fame, xp or gold and amassed items. Instead we look for open minded players who are eager to help, to teach or to learn, and to play all aspects of the game within a constructive and supportive circle of friends.
Our in-depth hiring process has been at the cornerstone of making sure that every new addition to the guild shares our values and enjoyment. We like to take our time and to get acquainted with potential recruits. Of course, our criteria are higher than many guilds, in terms of maturity, playstyle, teaming ability, and most importantly - personality. Our Recruiters drive the recruiting process and every applicant will be assessed for a few days or weeks depending on the amount of time played, and on the feedback given by guild members.
GUIDELINES
- Aged 18+. The average age of current guild members is 'late 20s / early 30s' and this is the age range we wish to maintain.
- Some knowledge of Guild Wars, either having played it enough to have a level 20 character or two, or having studied the game through fansites.
Desirable Attributes
- A preference for team-work over soloing.
- Genuine, open-minded, talkative, with some humour.
- Experienced GW player, in PvE or PvP, or in theorycrafting, character building.
- Willing to help guild mates, and to call for help whenever it is needed.
- Resident in either EU or Americas (for similar timezones).
- History of gaming, especially online games, mmorpgs, etc.
- Enjoyment of discussing builds, putting forward strategies, engaging other members in the forum.
Players whose application will be declined
- People who have no experience at all, but want a group to show them everything (we don't have time, unfortunately).
- People obsessed with the guild ladder. This isn't our priority, though we aim to be competitive.
- L33t speakers and those of that ilk.
If you feel that [SoF] might be right for you, please feel free to visit our forums and post an application! We look forward to meeting you!
