What we are looking for in players and guilds:
• Are courteous to others and have a decent level of maturity.
• Are willing to help others progress in the game.
• Are social and will join in to guild and alliance chats and activities.
• Enjoy missions and questing often.
• Enjoy hunting down bosses and items.
• Understand that real life does take precedence. We pause for baby/kid breaks. Some of us rather often.
• Do not use leetspeak or abuse the English language. This is important. "U" "O" "C" "Y" and "R" are letters, not words.
• Will not beg for money and items. We believe in the "Teach a man to fish" approach to gaining possessions and position in the game.
• Are 17+ years old. We have decided to put an age requirement for new members due to issues arising with players under that marker.

• Must have rules/guidelines similar to ours and have active officer/leaders. If your guild can not follow the language guideline or chaos is reigning inside it please do not apply.
• An active roster of seven to fifty-ish people. We are not looking for more placeholders on the alliance roster, we would like there to be people behind the capes so we can replace a few defunct guilds with thriving ones.

About Kirins of Holy Light:

Kirins is a casual PvE guild. Our founding members hold a strong affinity to the Kirin. We are allies of the Kurzick faction and are leader of our alliance. Our members play for missions, quests, certain title gaining, and casual farming for neat items. While we do try to organize group events every so often members usually form pairs/groups as needed for whatever their focus is at the time. There is also a set of members who do enjoy AB’ing often.

Our guild's focus is to provide an enjoyable social setting for playing the game. If you are looking for a guild that understands "BRB, have to change the baby!" or other real life occurrences then our guild may be a good match. Being a parent (and there are quite a few in our guild) is not a requirement but and understanding of the needs of one is.

We do not have requirements for hours logged and we do not have faction donation requirements. We do not accept any player spamming for a guild so there is a small application process to test if the new member will likely fit our group. This is done to ensure the best experience for our members that we can provide.

Please note that we are NOT looking at ever taking over towns and our primary purpose is not simply to have 100 names on our list. We want to gather like minded people so forming groups is easier and enjoyable and make some friends while at it. We are looking for members that will make a serious attempt to help us grow and to involve themselves into our group. Our current members do their best to be online and helpful but we do have outside responsibilities. Members are on anywhere from 10 am to 2 am EST and are located all over the world. (We generally use EST to plan events).

What our alliance can offer:
• A maintained website and forums for alliance use.
• Members that will help others when they are able to and who enjoy conversing with others (though it comes in spurts some days).
• Ventrilo 2.1 server. We use this for the unlimited connections and do have a standalone version available for people who also have 2.3
• At least one contest per month. Currently we are favoring screenshot contests so that members in all time zones have a chance to participate.
