The Order of the Frozen Tundra (TofT) is recruiting!
TofT (GMT -5 & -6) was started in November of 2005 by a small group of 4 family members.
At the height of TofT we had 25+ active members that logged on daily. With the exception of one player all members of TofT and the alliance has the 3 full campaigns and the EoTN expansion. Our alliance is Kurzick based. Most of us are currently working on Vanquishing, Guardian, and Elite mission/area completion.
From time to time we have poked around with PvP but have not been able to find the PvP leadership necessary to succeed on the level we would like to.
Recently we had a substantial group of younger players and two officers leave the guild to form their own guild. The group that left had personal ties to each other as friends in and out of game. We wish them well and had a great time playing with them. They are missed. This has seriously reduced the number of active players to approximately ten.
We are now looking for solid (Core) players to re-fill our roster. We are primarily an American guild but we do have a few international members in the alliance. It doesn’t matter if you have been playing since beta, or more recently. The most important thing we are looking for are players with a good understanding of game mechanics, primarily the mechanics of agro and pulling, and their character skill sets. If you think that you fit this requirement then we should talk.
We do not have an age requirement, but the majority of our players are 18+, with a half our players being over 30. Ideally, we would like to attract 10-15 solid new members. There are open officer positions; however you should keep reading before asking about those.
TofT has its own website http://toft.gogab.com, and its own private Teamspeak server. Members are encouraged to participate on the website.
What can you expect from TofT? (Guidelines)- Mature and respectful officer and members that know how to have a good time. Our members play because they love the game.
- Members willing to help. Everybody has that “one” toon that needs to get through some long forgotten quest.
- Its all about having fun! Sometimes we fail at quests and missions but we learn from our mistakes and do it again.
- A fully equipped guild hall
- Regular game play and people on line from 4:30PM EST (GMT-5) to 12:00 AM PST (GMT-8) and later.
- We have a private Teamspeak server and expect members to be on if playing. We realize that sometimes you might not be in a social mood, and want to play by yourself, but this is a MMO and socializing is where you make new friends and improve your game play.
- A microphone is required, WHY because we said so, see above, and we don’t like typing. We have one member who is exempt from this rule. We will not make any other exceptions.
- A focus on Vanquishing and Hard Mode.
- Everyone, regardless of experience and skill is welcome on all quest / missions / vanquishes. If you can follow directions your in.
- We understand that real life takes priority. If we are in the middle of something and “RL” comes a calling we understand.
- We enjoy group activities, for the second year in a row we sponsored one district during Canthan New Year. We do it for the fun and not for the recognition. Farming the various drops was a great time.
Stuff that TofT frowns on:- Cliques, we don’t have an “A” team. All guildies have equal opportunities.
- No you can’t be an officer right away. If you need to ask “What does it take to be an officer?” Then you are definitely not officer material.
- Our Teamspeak server is rated PG, many players have children and we will not tolerate inappropriate language and discussion.
- Free handouts. We do NOT lend gold to members.
- We do not have membership dues or faction requirements. There is no desire to own a town.
- If you buy gold or bot, expect to get kicked from the guild. We want nothing to do with that kind of behavior.
- We do not allow discussion based on religion, politics, race, illegal activities, or sex on a public channel of the Teamspeak server at anytime. That’s what private channels are for.
- Basically if your annoying expect to be without a home quickly.
If after all that you are interested contact me in game or send me a message here. Just make sure to tell me why you’re PM-ing. I get a lot of PM’s and might need a wake up. If I am doing something that doesn’t allow me to chat I will tell you so we can get back in touch afterwards.
IGN: Krelnal Thaselis – Guild / Alliance Leader
IGN: Krispy Er – Senior Officer
