Kingdom Guardians[AMEN] are Recruiting GVG & PVP

Greetings Ladies & Gentleman

Welcome everyone who reads this thread...

Well we are looking for Guilds that want to join our Alliance and we are also looking for mature adults to join our guild,
with a great vast experience in (HA, AB, GvG, PvE).

Many of us at AMEN would like to HA, AB, GvG, PvE but it has become hard to gather a core set of GvG'rs. It seems most of us love the PvE aspect of the game, but... PvP is fast becoming a part of the game we want to play regularly. If you are patient enough to play PvE while we work our way towards good PvP play - then AMEN may be for you. Here is the rest of the speal:

Well, to look at us, one might not take this rag-tag group of PvE-PvP-GvG misfits seriously, but we AMEN'ers are here for the enjoyment of Guild Wars, some fine company, and quite a few laughs.

AMEN does actually stand Christ - Some of us in the Guild believe, and others dont believe, we are not out to become religious nuts and bible bash you our beliefs, if you want to know we will sincerely tell you, but we wont preach a sermon to you!

Sometimes many of us will be on, sometimes its' just you and the henchie next door, but we know that soon - someone else will be on, and then 2, 3, 4 more. Next thing you know, while you were off getting something to drink, grabbing a sandwich, or walking the dog, AMEN came alive. AMEN is a collection of players that have many different in-game interests, hail from all over the map, are in various states of the game, and play at all different times of the day or night.

What is AMEN? Who is AMEN? What do we like? What do we do? What do we have? What do we want? All of these are very valid questions, and I hope to answer them in this introduction to the Riddle of Kings!

What is AMEN?

I mentioned rag-tag? OK then, we really are a collection of people that love the PvE aspect of the game. We have a seemingly mis-matched group that love to GvG, and even a few more that get into PvP (Heroes Ascent, or Comp Arenas). Mostly though, we love the story lines and have a ton of fun trying to accomplish all there is to accomplish in the game. We try and do all the missions and quests, farm, gather PvE titles, dance the 4 corners, hang with the NPC's, etc...

Who is AMEN?

AMEN people come from all over: Europe, USA, We love to joke and kid around and rib each other and make fun of the character names and armor colors and just generally have fun at the expense of everyone else in the guild - BUT, all in the name of fun and smiles and laughter (Oink). I do not think that AMEN has ever had a TRUE 'spat' of any sort. Truly fun and riotous folk we tend to be.

Once you become AMEN and register here - I go in and update your login to Membership status,
which opens up the rest of the website for your use.

What do we want:

Um, all your gold, children, Singers and any cool pictures of current trendy bands you may have. OK - fine! I guess we here at AMEN want to continue to have as much fun with the game as possible while maintaining our normal real-life. We want some new people to join us too, some people who:

- are generally PvE & PvP types
- would love to get a GvG thing going that includes serious play injected with a big dose of fun.
- would like to join in on helping some AMEN's get some PvP emotes, on occasion (I think only 2 of us have them, but many secretly wish)
- enjoy helping others attain goals that they have already attained or would work towards also
- play the game but by no means would have to live in it
- doesn't mind crazy guild chat (99% clean, promise)
- doesn't take too many things too seriously and doesn't wish to just jump ship at the slightest whim

- Balance, Split, Spikes, Heroway, BYOB... anything to get some games in, depending on who is on at the time.

- We are in Alliance free right now, but have a couple options.

- All new members will have a chance to play GvG/HA.

- We would like our members to have r6+ and top 500 GvG experience. Not extremely strict, for example, not going to turn down an active, good r3/5.

What we are not:

- spammers of 'Help Me!' or 'I need gold!' or 'Gimme weapons!'
- we help each other out and never sell anything to each other
- we don't have to give anything to anyone, but love to because we enjoy each other having success (and to brag that we got such an awesome item in the first place!)
- we do not farm Factions and we dont chase you for faction, just take it easy there is no rush!
- we do not pay dues
- we do not expect or force Officers to drop their own goals for those of the members, but helping out tends to be in our nature
- there are no requirements at all except to be a fun, caring, smiling, helping, 'give a joke-take a joke', type of person that truly enjoys the world of Guild Wars

What do we like:

Well, we like the PvP, PvE aspect of the game. We also would like to form groups together to accomplish many an individual goal. RoK likes to hang-out sometimes and just converse with each other - which mostly happens at rather random times and is never planned, but always fun.

What do we do:

Have fun - PvP, PvE, mostly - log on at all sorts of times - understand that real life does exist and use the game for what it was intended: fun, enjoyment, companionship, and a way to get away from that real life and take back some of that control we lose in our daily lives. (OK - that got way too serious, um, I must say, well - THPPT!!!)

What do we have?

Fun!!. We have cool people that are very likable (or is that lick able?) and tend to grow on you like grass in a cow pasture. *oh, you meant physically?*
- a Guild Hall Completed
- cool buttin' capes
- a GvG rank
- a group of cool people from all over the world
- a Teamspeak & Vent account
- a website! and a forum! ( www.kingdomguardians.org )
- semi-organized topic nights of AMEN togetherness (GvG, PvE, Title night)
- Still in search of a good Alliance to support our Guild.
- At this moment we are Luxon and sometimes we change to suit all people needs for titles.
