Slaves Of The Darkness [CuLT]
Originally formed in December, 2005, under a different guild name/tag, [CuLT] is an adult guild, and leader of an adult alliance of 10 guilds (Kurzick). Our policy for new members is fairly simple: minimum 18 years of age, play at least a couple times a week, and possess some "home training." In other words, we do not tolerate discriminations regarding race, sexual orientation, religion, politics, etc., and misbehavior in our alliance chat. While our alliance/guild chat may get a bit risque at times, if I find a certain topic is insulting someone, it ceases to be discussed.
Unfortunately, like many other guilds, many of our members have grown bored and moved on to other games. Others are occupied with various things, including college, families and military. Unless I have been given prior notice, all members who hit one month out are subject to my left mouse button. We do have a few members who have been gone a bit to tend to some personal things in real life, but they have been very loyal to our guild for a long time, and have given me prior notice.
Several of us have dedicated ourselves to filling up our Halls of Monuments and getting 30 titles on at least one character. We do not occupy ourselves day and night with any certain elite mission or dungeon, over and over and over. We enjoy each and every part of the game, so you will find absolutely none of us seeking to farm a certain spot repeatedly, unless it benefits a title. Our primary goal is to fastrack our current members, and new members to full halls and max titles. Our old guild has been turned into a Luxon guild for faction transfer, for those who are done with their Kurzick title and want to work on Luxon for another accountwide title.
We are a primarily American guild/alliance, with quite a few Euro players. We have a vent server that is primarily active during night hours (US times).
We will be hosting a district in the upcoming Canthan New Year event (as we have every year for the past 3 years). The district will be announced a couple days before the event begins. In-game friends and acquaintances are welcome to come and leech max gifts.
I apologize for being verbose, but when placing a recruitment ad, I prefer the "full disclosure" route to let you know what our guild is about. In other words, I do not spam major outposts that we are recruiting, blah blah blah, talking to you for one minute, and have you end up in a guild that doesn't suit you. I am not a big fan of membership turnover.
Basically, we are just hanging out, tying up loose ends and waiting anxiously for GW2 with great anticipation. If you plan on playing it the next GW, and plan on maxing everything you possibly can in this GW (and are able to play at least a couple times a week) I would be more than happy to speak with you.
