Guild Wars is dead.

And we're trying to resurrect it.

Meeting of the Lost Minds [MLM] is an experienced, adult, Kurzick, PvE guild/alliance looking for more.

So many of us have defeated the game (as much as we care to) and are looking for something more. "The Grind" is good for six months, maybe a year. What can you do beyond that to keep the game interesting? We have a Paragon who's a "God Walking Amongst Mere Mortals", for crying out loud!

In the past month, our alliance has seen such events as an intricate scavenger hunt and most recently an hour-long foot race. These events were well-planned and well-attended. While we're not adverse to general PvE "events" such as vanquishes or elite missions, we're looking for more guilds who would also be interested in a departure from the ordinary.

After a recent bloodletting, our alliance consists of ourselves and three like-minded guilds. We're hoping to find a couple guilds who would be more than mere placeholders in the alliance. If each guild can host PvE events once in a while, it would go a long way to promote camaraderie. If each guild can host special events/contests from time to time, it would go a long way to break up the monotony of title grinding and general farming.

Our other pet-peeve (yes, we have another!) concerns communication. We strongly encourage incoming guilds' officers to register on and regularly check our forums, and we also suggest your members do as well. Both daily and special events are organized IN ADVANCE on the forums, and if people want to participate the first step is they know it's happening. In addition, we're a generally TS-based alliance (Vent is fine!) and when adventuring in large groups we prefer everyone hops on. Things go more smoothly if everyone knows the plan!
