Due to some past experiences I feel the need to stress a few points before anyone continues to read this post...

The applicant guild MUST be SOCIAL. Why join a guild or alliance if all you ever do is keep to yourself or your guild mates? Worse yet, complain that no one talks to, or parties with, you when you don’t make any effort in trying to make friends or interact.

The applicant guild MUST NOT be full of ELITISTS, BIGOTS, RACISTS, or any of the usual unwanted personality types. If all you can do to make yourself feel better is to, put others down, make them feel inferior, intentionally are rude and disrespectful, or think you are above everyone else in the game, or life, you are not welcome here. We have ZERO tolerance for people such as this and especially in a game where we come to relax, have fun and get away from people we can’t escape so easily in real life. We do not discriminate on race, gender, creed, sexual-orientation, or anything else for that matter and nor should you.

So, if these terms are agreeable to you so far, you like to be around fun, humourous, outgoing, laid-back people, then please read on.

Due to guild deaths, we are looking to replace 1 guild.

[DAWG] is the leader of a 9 guild Kurzick alliance made up of American and European members and guilds. We are a very social alliance and believe that the friendships we have made in this game have added greatly to our experience of the game. We use Ventrilo to b.s. with each other, but it’s not required; as alliance chat is also well in use. However, those who are on vent usually find themselves first chosen for groups to do fun things. We encourage our members to interact and get to know each other. We are a very out-going, friendly group and many of us have been together for well over a year, but are looking for new friends to add to the mix. We strongly encourage any member, from any country, as long as you can speak English fairly well, since it is the language most here communicate in.

We are not a large alliance. However, DAWG stands at 82 members as of this post. The largest guilds have about 50-85 members ranging to the smaller guilds of 20. We believe in quality, not quantity. Quality of a person, not of play ability. We are more like a family here than a group of no more than pugs. Here we take the time to get to know each and every member and learn their names. The median age of our players is about 30 years old with an age range here from 17-62, though we prefer to keep our member base over the 18 age mark.

We are mostly PVE, HM title-mongers, Elite mission areas, and Farmers. However, we do have many who PVP in AB, RA, TA, HB, HoH, and some who are starting GVG. We will NEVER demand faction donations and have NO faction requirements. We believe that forcing others into that makes this more of a job than a game for fun. That being said, I am told that some will be trying to single-handedly get us to own a town, but we shall see, and we are not opposed to those who would like to try.

Our alliance runs pretty much 24 hours a day with someone usually on at all times of the day and night, and almost all of the GMTs represented. We would like to strongly encourage Australian or New Zealand guilds or members to join to fill the time slot that has the fewest members on, as we also have a few members in Japan, Philippines, Hong Kong, Australia, and Malaysia here as well.

Members and Guilds:
1) All level of players from beginner to veteran are welcome.

2) Be at least 18+ (however, 16+ will be considered). We are mostly adults here and, as such, adult language and conversations are rampant. We would rather not deal with angry parents because of something that thier kid has heard.

3) Be social, laid-back, friendly, unbiased, and helpful. Leave the attitude and elitist mentality elsewhere.

4) A twisted sense of humour will help greatly as I can not really explain the humour here. But it is usually very adult.

5) Daily play is not required. We understand that people have lives outside the game too. At least we hope they do. Though we are looking for active members.

6) We have only one rule; terms of hate, bigots, racists, elitists and all the usual unwanted behaviour types are not tolerated. Members or guilds that do not adhere to this rule are quickly removed.
