Legion of the Phoenix [LP] welcoming Luxon guilds to join our alliance.

Here is a bit about us and why we are recruiting:
The "Legion of the Phoenix" [LP] Alliance is 6 guild alliance led by three guilds: The Last Platoon [LP] and Serene Ambassadors of Guidance to Enlightenment [Sage] have been together for 4.5 years, with Charter Vanguard [CV] joining us 1.5 years ago. We are all predominantly PvE-based guilds, though we do have a number of members who play in PvP as well. We have a lot of title hunters and players who have been with the game a long time. All of the guilds lean towards the older and more mature crowd (majority of our members over 20 years old); however, our goal is to seek maturity despite the age of the player. Simply put, we are playing Guild Wars as means of entertainment and to take a break from work and/or school so we strive for a low pressure and drama-free environment.

What we are looking for:
We seek mature, active players in guilds with a commitment to GW and plans to carry over their communities and friendships into GW2. With the wait for GW2, we would like to continue growing our community of friends and families we have nurtured over the years. As we are a Luxon alliance that mostly delves into the PvE aspect of the game, we are searching for similar-minded guilds to join us in our various escapades.

"Okay, so what does this "Legion of the Phoenix" Alliance have to offer for my guild?" you might ask.

The [LP] alliance is a stable, mature Luxon alliance that focuses on fun and enjoyment of the game away from our busy lives. You will find a core group of experienced and knowledgable players who like to plan events and team up together for various outings; more of the elite mission varieties mostly being headed up and coordinated by the [CV] guild. With the news surrounding GW2 growing, veteran players are at work filling up their HoM and trying to obtain titles. At the same time, new players are coming to the game as they realize the GW experience looks to be much more fun, so we can help guide and teach the newer players in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. We also like to have our bit of fun with parties, get-togethers and have hosted a district for Canthan New Year for the past few years.

We welcome many differant play styles, whether you're into PvE, PvP, prefer doing things solo or prefer to go with groups. We host a 35 person Ventrilo server for our alliance friends to keep in touch (plenty to handle several outings at once). We do not require any FFF or other alliance-based obligations other than to be mature and not start a bunch of drama (and chances are... if your reading this... your trying to get away from all that anyway)

With a player base that spans across the globe, there will be players on at all times of the day. Also, for those guilds that would like a private section on our forum for guild-only related topics, our forum can host 2 private sections just for your guild (one for all of your guild members, and one just for your officers and GL). No need to maintain your own board unless you want to or already have one.
