Long-time player seeks new guild
With regrets, I am planning on leaving my current guild. We've had a lot of laughs but too many have left for Warcrack, or for personal reasons. The 2 sort-of active players left int he guild are one who can only play in University holidays due to his laptop no longer running GW properly, and one who plays very little due to not having the internet at home any more, and is restricted to her local Internet Cafe.
What I'm looking for in a guild:
Maturity - I instantly ceded my current guild from our alliance when they started using childish insults when I grouped with them and a PuG member. I'd like a level of maturity about
A level of competence/intelligence - while I'm not saying everyone must be the most brilliant hardcore player, people understanding "my energy is 1 of 53" means wait and the concept of "don't agro the population of a small country" is critical.
A decent number of active players - I'd like to actually play with people rather than my trusty heroes and annoying hench.
Regular events - I'd like to think "ooh, I'll make sure I'll log in xyz because we're doing xyz"
Hard mode/elite focus - I've done the "standard" content and am playing pretty much everything in HM (even when questing!), I'd like to be with like-minded people
Understanding that Real Life comes first - I capitalised it for a reason While I'm not going to leave a group for something trivial, I have a full time job, 2 orchestras and a few other commitments thast call me away from GW. While I generally play at least 2 if not more nights a week (usually more like 4-5), I'll rarely be on Saturdays and will often have limited time online.
European-time based. I'm in the UK, and would like to have people on at the same time!
Teamspeak - Vent hates my computer, and I love to talk Alternatively if you do run vent, tech support to get it working would work too
Hall with Xunlai - The only in game thingy I really want from a guild, due to having way too many storage characters
About me:
As I'm asking a lot, here's some things about me. They say a picture paints a thousand words. Here is my main:
Experiences:
I've been playing since Beta, and have been part of the same guild for that time. I've done everything on Normal mode, including clearing the UW completely, clearing the FoW completely, finishing DoA, the rest you can see from my screenie, and I did earned all of my titles the hard way!
Characters:
My main 2 characters are my elementalist, who is also my title hunter, and my monk. Both have finished all 3 campaigns, although my monk has some quests here and there left.
I also have a ritualist (finished factions, at Sanctum in Prophecies, playing through with a newbie friend), ranger (finsihed proph and factions) and warrior (finished proph)
While I can and do play relatively accepted builds, I also like interesting variants, especially those needed in HM.
Gaming habits:
I'm a HM junkie, and love adapting builds to cope with the harshness. Never expect me to play pvp.
I'll generally be online most of Monday, Thursday and Sunday nights, with some Fridays, and late Tuesdays thrown in. Tuesday nights can be arranged if events are on, but I'd need to be off Thursday instead.
Gear:
All my characters have maxed gear/runes for any att. build they might want to run, and my ele and monk's heroes are also geared fully with greens/runes. I have every elite unlocked for use with heroes. While I'm not a millionaire, I have enough money for everything i need, and am likely to need in the future.
So drop me a PM if you think your guild is a match for me. I'd prefer a guild that would also allow the opportunity for my university friend to join us, he has a similar outlook and background to me, but plays some pvp (AB) too. I'd also like to be able to come play with you for a bit before joining to check I think it's going to work!
Oh, and as a lot of people are sticklers about age, never ask a lady her age I'll just say I've 2 university degrees and leave it at that :P
