Who we are.

The Emerald Fang is a upcoming family style guild that was created for Guild Wars 2, but also includes any other games that the members like to play. We understand that everyone has their own kind of style and their own goals in mind and we want to create a community that supports everyone. Just like a family, everyone is different. Though we are different we still form a community that helps each other and we ask only that you follow the 3 guild rules.

1. Treat your fellow guildies how you would like to be treated.

2. If someone helps you out, pay it forward.

3. Don’t. Be. A. Dick.

With those in mind, help us grow through a great community, whether you like PvP, PvE, RP or just hanging with some likeminded people.

How we are organized.

We are an Australian/United States based guild created by some like minded friends that just happened too be many timezones away, therefore we organize the guild with 2 Guild Leaders, one located in Australia and one in the deep south of the US. This allows us to have members on during most times of the day and makes it very important that we use the tools available to us (Forums, Shoutbox, mumble) to effectively communicate. Although we are based in these two countries we will still accept applicants outside of these, just keep in mind we arranged our mumble servers (and will pick out our future GW2 server) to be on the west coast of the US so that our Australian buddies can get a decent ping. Under the guild leaders we will have 2 (or more) officers for each region. Officer voting will happen much later before GW2 comes out, allowing us to both gain members and have time for everyone to get to know each other.

Who we want.

I'll be upfront with everyone here, we want people who are friendly and like getting on and helping each other out. People who enjoy using forums and mumble to communicate. Want to get a hardcore PvP group going? Count me in! All we ask is that you follow the first 3 rules and you can organize groups to explore anything the game has to offer. We do ask that you be at least 18, but there can be exceptions. We're mature in that we don't like drama or hatred, but not in the way that we aren't crazy or silly sometimes!
