Wow, can't believe I made it! One thing though - any chance of correcting the typo on my character's name? She's Tasha Darke, not Tasha Drake.... probably was my typo on my eagerness to apply!

I'm already trying to think up what to do for my photos (guess what I'm doing tonight

), guess thats my afternoon of coding out the window.

Horror, black humor and drama are more my kind of thing.

This is so hard! I've been trying to come up with ideas all day. Ah, I fail at humour ;;
I have to ask - how literal are the requirements of 'conflict' and 'downfall'? Is it just a paraphrasing of setup-development-punchline? Or does there have to be actual conflict? Could it be 'discussion' and 'joke' instead, as long as the other character is the subject of the joke? Do I have to give come-uppance to someone Ashling doesn't like (I think Ashling likes everyone!

), or can I just make a little fun of someone or something?
I think what I mean is, are we basically being asked for three panels, with two characters interacting, ending with a joke of some sort?
Or is it more specific than this?

Hello Ashling. That was basically just an example of something you could do. it was put there to clarify what exactly we wanted.

If you notice at the end of the post it says:

It can be about anything you wish, it just has to be comical/amusing/make us laugh, yet still keep a professional aura around you.

Note: Make sure, if you use anyone els that is a "real" person, to mention them in your assignment submission in the email, otherwise, it would be breaking a rule, that everyone agreed too.

maybe take a look through the funnies in ur newspaper they are the best at getting a basic expressions and quick punchlines in very few pictures and are usually pretty good to relate to such as peanuts with snoopy etc~ just a suggestion

Fraps displays anything thats on the screen. "ctrl shift H" will remove the whole interface so you can freely take screens and or video.

I too am not a very funny person <_<. Finally sent in the assignment though (after going through lots of overly-cheesy not funny at all ideas). Heh already a challenge, but who knows maybe the next genre types will be a little easier on my serious sue. Good luck to everyone! I can't wait to see what you guys have.

Been agonising over what to choose the last few days - What little sense of humour I have is kind of dry and... random - I hope other people will find it amusing

Now I just have to gather together the courage to send it in!

I have been agonizing over this too! you are not alone!

I so appreciate those who have a witty mind and can easily determine what others find funny vs. what they themselves find funny... yes, it will take courage to submit this one....moreso, I feel, than the entry shot >.<
