I guess I have until monday to come up with a build to kill shiro then.....but it also looks like I am working on keeping my third place---that gets a prize too right????
good thing I have time to work this out (maybe I can get the hubby to do a dungeon with me this weekend-----)

off to kill off some end game bosses..................

geez I have been having a bitcch of a time getting the moment things die---had to kill the great destroyer 3 times to get one semi-good shot....argh.

posting below myself again

well well well.....had a little time to kill (things off) so here are some screens of my endeavors....as was allowed my kids got to take turns killing stuff, and I will also be making more than one post due to the screenshot limit

first is my little rit...she did 2 of them...Hell's p and abbadddddon....using that usefull skill consume soul

(lichdead...also shows my skills, guru and party; (abadon1 and abadon2 show the party, the skills and dang it tried to hit that button fast enough...but no ui on the one with him dying).

my little ss got to kill shiro (yes thats him in the red on the floor dead in the image shirodead---and jic 110 shows that he died where I said he did)...

next post gate of madness and time for heroes.

off to kill the lich and shiro ....again with my mezzzy (she didnt have masters so I let her do it). we have shiro dead first gatemadnessshirodead and lich is dead (couldnt hit that button so quick...but he is dead next to me in the cutscene! gatemadnesslichdead).

then yuki my monk tried to kill off the great destroyer...ok we did it a few times but had a pain of a time getting a good screenshot....so here is the best one I got herodead which also shows my skill set and party(if need be I also have the one showing +2500xp for killing it off in the cutscene, but dang that is fast and my computer must be slow).

ok then we breezed thru a dungeon (darktime delves--you can see this on my 'u' in the first shot as well) with my little mis monk and her pet cosyfiep (yep I do have a rat name cosyfiep)...here is the start and finish of that dungeon as well---with my skill set (yes go ahead and laugh) and guru

I wont be doing the hm stuff or an elite area as those are pretty hard to do solo (and my hubby is busy this weekend....and no way would I use a pug for this.....'hey guys can you wait while I take a screenshot and put it in paint and save it and.....' yeah that would get me either killed off or kicked preeeety fast)....and as I am a noob...no malllllyyyzzzxxx for me.

enjoy my stupid builds and my screenshots (I have others of these mission if need be but the limit is 5 so I picked the ones that showed my skill bar (no pve skills) as well as guru and my party when possible)...

this was great fun doing....I got masters on gate of madness and killed the great destroyer without a pug....thanks dark necrid for hosting such a fun contest (whether I get a prize or not I had a great time doing this).

Wow, dealing with all the screenshots was almost more work than the actual game.

Here's every mission/quest dones in Hard Mode, no PvE skills, and in each one I used a recently-buffed elite (e.g. Order of Undeath, Lyssa's Aura or Vampiric Spirit). I had 3 buddies join me for Bloodstone Caves and 4 for Fissure of Woe. It was indeed difficult to get screenshots of the bosses dead as the game usually went straight to a cutscene, but my 'completion' shots show some piece of evidence that the deeds were done.

Well I was going to do GoM this morning, but seeing Stig did a perfect mission, there's no catching up to him now. So congrats to Stig, and thanks to Cosyfiep for keeping the race for 2nd place interesting

Here are my final screenshots. I used this opportunity to try out the new Ranger elites, and get acquinted with a few new builds.

A Time For Heroes: The Great Destroyer

Ok, so I used PvE skills. >:P I just enjoy making him blow up fast. In this I tried out Melandru's Shot. It's an elite Hunter's Shot, pretty baed in PvE. Perhaps in PvP where snares are more important, but since it's blockable and has a chance to being dodged, Cripshot would still be more effective. This mission was done in HM.

Imperial Sanctum: Shiro

For Shiro, I tried a dps build using Expert's Dexterity as IAS, bonus Marksmanship. It worked, it's ok, but I'm not sure if it's better than Glass Arrows. I would need to calculate what the +2 marksmanship really adds to arrows. Still blew up Shiro in HM quite nicely (1:44 mins!). No PvE-only skills were used for the rest of the missions.

Abaddon's Gate: Abaddon

This was my first time beating him the "right" way after they nerfed the Reversal of Damage 'bug', and it wasn't as bad as I thought. Tried out Incendiary Arrow's in this one, but it was Wastrel's Worry that did most of the work. Again in HM.

Not really satisfied with the previous mission to really gauge Incendiary Arrows, I brought it in this one as well, and pretty much fell in love with it. What! I can spread poison to 3 targets simultaneously? Nice xD Here's Lich dying in HM:

Dungeon: Cathedral of Flames

So next I tried Scavenger's Focus as e-management. It's an interesting skill, but here, not so good actually haha. I'll stick to my Melandru's build next time. Took a few deaths, but got through it eventually. Still sad I couldn't bring Light of Deldrimore, so many missed treasures.

Elite: Fissure of Woe

For the grand finale, I picked FoW too. For this one, I treated myself by brining Incendiary Arrows again. I borrowed some heroes from a guildmate and went at it in Normal Mode. It was going pretty smoothely until I hit those groups of Icehands and Ehter dudes. Man Deep Freeze + ESurge can really spike those hero balls. After a few close calls (and some cursing because I forgot to switch in a hard rez in my build) I got through it. Seems they changed the Forest Griffons script since they ran right to me as I took that quest. That was a pretty tense moment as I had to escort them back while killing the newly spanwed undead. Luckily they seem to be more resilient than they used to, and so I was quite relieved when I got to the end unscaved. It must have been my unlucky night since the only shard I got was from the end FoW chest, along side the normal crap I get from these type of chests D:

And so concludes my run for the money ^^ Many thanks to Dark Necrid for hosting this. Got me to play some PvE areas I hadn't touched in a while, gave me an excuse to try and practice the new skills, and finally got me off my lazy ass to finish Sorrow's Furnace and get a mini Black Moa

Items Used Final Round:
Cosyfiep's item used was useless as her target didn't do anything towards her. Amusingly, Rift and Stig Figger both saved their "can't lose points" item for the final match, used it, and bombed each other (Rift used an item that causes a target foe's item to be used against them, which causes one of Stig's bombs to explode in his face but he was immune to losing points) so nothing happened. Oink used a loop hole, and used an item he got for his lower placing that gives him an ability that when he loses points he doesn't, and gains that amount instead, then proceeded to use his enhanced bombs (which instead take 5 points off) and use them on himself three times, giving himself +15 points. Pretty creative usage lol. :P

So congrats...the winners are...

1st Place: Stig Figger, wins 100,000g and 10 ectos.
2nd Place: Rift, wins 10,000g and 1 Perfect Salvage Kit.
3rd Place: Cosyfiep, wins 5,000g.

I'll be in-game at ~10pm CST, my usual time every day. I may need all the money to bribe my friends to keep playing with me, otherwise, it'll go into storage until I accumulate the remaining ~600k needed to purchase Obsidian Armour. I'm expecting the babes to flock once I put on the armour.
