Nice memories! My favourite would have to be my first festival, Halloween. I would have spent all 3 days of the event there. Costume brawling and Mad King stuff. OMG, I LOVE HALLOWEEN!

Agreed Frostnova. Gotta love the festivals. I escpecially like Dragon festival for community spirit, gets the whole community working together to get rid of those Grasps that my predecessor the King leaves. Ill get him back for that...

Pre-searing when I just ran in Lakeside County with my friend, we had all the time in the world and just enjoyed the landscapes and everything and I got my first belt pouch by hunting skales to get 5 skale fins. THE CATACOMBS! So peaceful and beautiful place... The music in pre...

Sorrow's Furnace, that was so incredibly cool place.

Time when there were no titles, no battle isles, no factions/nf/eotn, just tyria.

When I took my first droks run, the wurms THE WURMS! All the huge mountain troll and grawl groups. And they were level 24! holyy crap (sadly, I took my first droks run before even going to lions arch) I leveled up killing avicara.

When there were lots of matches in shiverpeak arena, some elite players had droks armor there.

Walking out of droknars forge for the first time, the violet snow, avicaras, trolls, the music...
I farmed my first droks armor by killing avicaras there in Talus Chute with 7 henchmen...

When I made money for my first 15k Gladiators armor by running from Ascalon City to Yak's Bend for 500g ea

When I "found" Dragons Gullet/Flame Temple Corridor

...and im just getting started here..

But I can never get those days back

lemme see...

figuring out about the white mantle, and the mursaat

the end cinematic of gates of kryta ("run you little fool run")

fighting through iron horse mine and being amazed by the impossible stone summit groups

installing factions and creating my ritualist (I loved the asian theme)

the end cinematic of eotn (I really like the whole dragon thing)

Ascending through augury rock for the first time (I wish HoM looked more like the inside of augury rock)

and finally beating prophecies with my water ele beastmaster build (it was amazing)

LOL ye I remember that

what I really liked about gw1 was: best festival ever: Wintersday 2006 the snowball arena! the finales! the quest! THE XMAS TREE!!!!! OMG!! [email protected] [email protected]

what im expecting from gw2: so many dungeons that the hardest ones can only b completed by a few 1337 guilds

I also hope they somehow manage to bring back the times when u needed real people for missions, which made missions a lot more fun

Oh yes! I remember that I had a mesmer then, before she was hated, and it was so much fun. I took off so many vacation days.

LOL this thread caused me to fire up GW again this last weekend, but sadly chat is awful so I played H/H and by Sunday I knew it was time to shut it down again.

Droks Granite citatdel, going hunting for the icy dragon sword, oh and the FIRST time I ever saw Glint and the beauty of that whole mission.

The weekend event to preview Factions now that was also good times with good friends.

Imasar-So you loved Tyria? Me too. How can you not love it? And it must have been cool without titles.
Low-Yeah, that must have been nice. Wondering around the place with no clue of what to do. As soon as i got Nightfall, i started to get more knowledge and 3 months into the game i wasnt aimless anymore (wiki to the rescue!)
Nibbit-Wow, you people love hard stuff. I guess i like Vanquishing, so i cant laugh at you. And as for Wintersday 2006, that was the one with 4 hats, so of course it will be good. I didnt attend, wish i had. Wish Anet would bring the old hats back, or allow all hats and more for GW2.
Aleta-Yeah, Glint rules. And what do you mean by the chat? No one wants to join you? Thats the way it is nowdays unfortunately. Everyone wants to vanquish, but few people have the title because no one can find a team.

Anyway, thanks so much for all your replies so far. Keep them coming!
