Me and my friend decided to make a magazine for the community, it is going to be a monthly magazine, starting January 18th 2009 *first issue release date.

We need the community to submit articles for the magazine, you will be credited.

And why don't you just work in conjunction with Tender Wolf since she has her own Newspaper and her own Magazine? Less clutter would be nice).

What can go in? Fan made articles, about their characters, like what Tender Wolf does (and some is interesting to read).

Basically, this is a fan-fiction in a magazine format.

it is a good idea if we work on it. You can do character bios of different people - even though in the end it will look like wiki. You could have current events sections and people can explain some builds or basic game mechanics

I would recommend you start this for GW2 when it comes out. That way you can have an e-zine established right from the start, instead of trying desperately to come up with articles for a game that isn't really developing anymore.
