'Twas fun to actually make a community-organised event for a change, even if I had to do without sleep to get to it (easier to just stay up than get up that early) and then got exiled to D2 for the start anyway...
So, well done overall to the organisers! One nitpick I'd make, though, is that the final trivia section in D1 used the same questions as the golem invasion in D2, which meant for the people that had come over from D2, it was simply a case of typing it in quickly.
Speaking of which, for the people commenting on the number of trivia questions I got... I have been working on a fairly large-scale lore project on the Guild Wars deities, so I possibly did have an unfair advantage there. I'd probably have got more if it wasn't for being handicapped by sleep deprivation, Australian latency, and, in at least one case where I would otherwise have been able to snap off the answer in short order, being caught with my chat bar filled with something else...

@ The three Costume contest winners:
Since I am *shamefully* behind schedule storywise (I was supposed to be around Ascension now, if I wasn't delayed), it might take a bit till your special appearances.
Can't throw a Mursaat or Jade right after Bloodstone Fen XD
I'll try speeding it up a bit, but I'm sure you'll notice when a character similar to you/your name pops up
Congrats again!

Jack/Scrooge Mc Duck and Kazera Wolfsbane used the same trivia questions the whole time. Daniel (without it being intended) sent everyone from D2 to D1, so it was a kind of thing for the staff in ID1 - especially when I got complaints that no one was monitoring ID2 for the last 20ish min. (Blade Radio peeps were annoyed but BR was late by 3-ish hours >_>)

Divine Togo - another lorest - also got a large amount, in ID1, we were tempted from banning him from answering to give others a chance.
Lore Questions means that Lorists get an advantage. (which is why I want as many lorists to be the staff for such events! Ask the questions, not answer. )
Once more, a thanks to the staff, sponsors, and community for making the event so great and successful.

I think you guys did a great job considering you had some trolls and spammers that wanted to ruin the party I know many of my friends reported them. And wow, 3 hrs late? >.< You handled it gracefully Konig not to mention I am sure you guys were putting out many fires or dealing with bumps in the road (that we didn't know about besides the golems or your friend's texmod not making it). Just know regardless of all that people had a good time, I thought it was nice people like Yenna Quickblade was inspired and just passed out a ton of tonics to add to the fun, oh and I don't know if the mesmer that passed out a ton of golden eggs was with your group too but kudo's to him for such nice generosity!
I thought it was great foresight to put the rule out that troll & golem tonics were not allowed. At the start of the party I was impressed the ones that had used them already were thoughtful and stood at the back of the crowd. I would guess lessons learned would maybe be that there be a cap on how many questions one person can answer right and receive prizes; it's great they know so much, I was hoping they'd be gracious enough to allow other members try because I saw many lose interest. Yet in his defense, if he did his homework well hey anyone else could have if they wanted to win really bad I think it was fun that Free Runner would call out on people to challenge them to a duel of /rock/paper/scissors...I think I saw Karuro do the same too...(gratz again to the winners that get to be drawn in Karuro's comic- that's awesome!) I really think you guys did a great job and it was obvious you guys worked so hard to make a nice event. Thank you so much!
I really wish Anet would have sent a GM to support you guys to /punt the trolls, I know so many of us reported them. One would have thought it'd sent a red flag for them to investigate or immediately pause their acct. Regardless you guys handled it with grace. Again, WELL DONE.

There was a minor bump at the beginning where I thought Daniel was still in front of the crowd, and I floated out there. Only took a moment to recover, but the team chat was rather humorous in response to it.

I wasn't challenging people, I was picking out people (The Chosen!!) for future sacrifices.
Just don't tell them the items I gave them contain sleeping gas <.<
Shame a few of them were afk. Well, their loss.
I was also very surprised how almost everyone IGNORED the trolls XD
Didn't ruin a thing (Well, except Konig's sanity with tradespam).

Heh. Come to think on it, I think there were a couple of times when I held back due to feeling guilty myself.
Still, due to the aforementioned disadvantages (well, the first two, anyway), there were plenty of events I pretty much gave up on trying (pretty much anything that gave a prize apart from the costume contest) so it probably comes out in the wash. I knew lore, other people had other advantages like emote recognition.

Next year, maybe. As you know, I wasn't sure I'd be able to make it until not long before the event.
