For Tyria, it is a time of change. The lethargic days of summer open upon the rigors of autumn. For the Order of the Phoenix alliance, it is also a time of change. Disdaining of the gothic Kurzicks, the piratical ways of the Luxons have taken sway. This means new enemies, but it also means new friends. Join Order of the Phoenix in celebrating our new community as well as the bond we all share in common. Invite your friends, your family, and strangers from across the realm to the Astralarium, and join the festivities on August 22nd!

Festivities starting at 6:00pm Eastern Standard Time(EST)

Please note this is just a rough guide, it will not be adhered to adamantly if need be! See below for explanations.

6:00pm(EST) (11:00pm (GMT)): Start of event, guests arrive for party
6:30pm (11:30pm) – 7:00pm (12:00am): Costume judging contests
7:05pm (12:05am) – 7:45pm(12:45am): Scavenger hunt
7:50pm(12:50am) – 8:30pm(1:30am): The Astralarium Assay
8:45pm(1:45am) - ??? (???): 75k Hide and Seek competition

Please note that I will compile a guest list, so if you want a reminder about the party before it starts (in case timezone calculations are messed up or what have you) please contact me through any method, and I'll be sure to send you a reminder beforehand.

-Activities & Special Events –

• Costume Competition!
Please note, these might all be the same person! This contest is based on armor sets, not tonics or other appearance changers.

Best Dressed! – Set the evening afire with your lovely attire! (The kind of armor you’d see in a town and look at twice because it’s so nice looking!)

Least Dressed! - For the slackers among us; win a prize for the least thoughtful costume around!

Worst Dressed! - Win a prize for the most god awful ugliest costume in all of Tyria!

Most Creatively Dressed! - Not necessarily beautiful, not necessarily hideous, but good lord it makes an impression! (a costume that is eye catchingly creative)

• Scavenger Hunt!
Be the fastest to return with the items. The items will be listed in game at the start of the hunt!

• The Astralarium Assay!
Test your knowledge of the world of Tyria!

• 75k Hide and Seek competition
A clue will be given for where to find the host of the event. This will be a raffle form, all participants will be asked to donate 1k if they wish to participate in this particular event. First person to find the host will receive a generous 10k prize, another 13 participants will get 5k each!

-Donations are greatly appreciated in the form of -
• Gold, Platinum, and Ectos
• DISCO BALLS so we can light up the evening
• Minipets, Tonics, general fun stuff
• Booze (though we do have a sizable stockpile)
• Sweets and Party Points
• Odds and Ends

All left over items and gold will be given away at the end of the event or put towards the next event, whatever the attendees decide. All major donations (I.E. Cash and high end items) will be recorded so they can be returned if need be, and also so that you can be credited!

Ahh, it appears the great Order of the Phoenix alliance are back. And after the Boardwalk Bar-B-Que, im glad. Ill be sure to do my best to get here, and enjoy another on of your great parties. If you can make it better than last time, that would be something.

EDIT:Maybe I can win the worst dressed costume competition again!

EDIT 2:I might be able to run a few people. If you need a ferry to the Astralarium, I can take you striaght from Kamadan. PM me ingame, as Prepare to Burn, and Ill be sure to see what I can do!

Ok, ill try and catch you in game so i can pass it on. Anyways, im afraid im going to be a confused idiot again, and ask about times-again. It says 11pm GMT in the banner, so does that actually mean GMT, or British summer time (BST/GMT+1), which is the timezone Britain is currently in? Sorry to bother you.

To be honest I have no idea. I think that is current UK time - GMT +1. I couldn't figure it out though because the site was being ambiguous.
