That was great fun! I had a wonderful timing hanging out in D2 and vending stuff to people. The play was fantastic, and I just loved the script play that was throughout the entire event.
Can't wait for next years!

Next year, I won't do the riddle hunt... I hope I can get some Everlasting Unseen Tonics for next year though, along with 3 more Eyes once more. :3

I missed it, but i did have fun at the begging when i was there. Hopefully next year will be crazier, after all GW2 could possible be out by then and could have some type of verson there. I did have fun helping Konig get some of the stuff that he wanted. Also Konig i'm sure that you'll be able to get Everlasting Unseen Tonics and eye for next year. We could even have something even better by then.

If so I'll just need to get 4 miniatures!

I, at least, will not continue MantleCon into GW2. Its far too stressful. And even if GW2 isn't out until after April 2012 (which I'm actually doubting given the info we know), I think next year will be the last.
And I won't be going for a "big finale" but instead a "short and sweet" event. I'll be cutting Search out since that didn't go as planned, and I'll probably cut out another event - making it an hour shorter.
Basically: I want more prizes (multiples of every Mantle/Mursaat/Blade miniature, the tonics - normal and everlasting - and perhaps additions of what we may get, oh, and cash!), more districts, less time during the event.
I think I'll have it end at the same time, for our Australian friends (since it started at, what, 5 am for many of them? - give them an extra hour or 2 of sleep)

The search was fun, but i really didn't understand anything of it.
i found all three scouts in druids overlook, what i think was copperhammer mines and umbral grotto, but they told me that i should give the last one a password from what the previous ones have told me (ehh, they didnt tell me anything special except to answer to my "wth is going on here?, you are a scout?")
i sent them the message on the webpage but didnt get anything in quotation marks from the first ( the second one said something about that the last scout can be found in a grotto in the forest)
can you explain how it should have worked konig, i feel frustrated of not knowing how it should have ended

Despite the mass confusion and the my queen's attempts to zap me (must have confused me with an infidel or a rebel sympathiser), the event was awesome! I'm really looking forward to the next Mantlecon or any other event that you might have planned. Hopefully by that time Queen Malafide's hatred of mesmers will have passed... o_O
Thanks again for organising the event and remember... OBEY!

What should of happened is that you go to each scout, who would be noted via talking in all chat like a White Mantle, and Pm whatevery ou wanted about the Peacekeepers and the Reformation.
The first would give you a phrase leading to the next and a word. The words should of been "Unseen" "Not" "Unheard" (a tribute to the first two years of the MC - when it was known as Mursaat Rally).
For the second and third scout, you'd need to say the word given by the previous (to make sure you didn't skip anyone). Then at the end, you should of returned to Henge and PM the district manager (myself, Malchior Devenholm, and Leon Wyvrn - who annoyingly put Katherine the Blood in charge of the search despite wanting to do something!) with the phrase "Unseen Not Unheard" to get the prize.
Apparently my explanation to the staff was faulty.

i'm pretty sure i was one of the first in the Grotto (at least from the d2) and pmed Nav (Nyv?) about the Peacekeepers, a few times - he hasn't replied. so i just went back to the party, thought that i missed something important that excluded me from getting the keyword and next clue.

There was that and we had an issue getting the prize to transfer to my character so I couldn't hand it out even if I wanted to. Not to mention I didn't know how to mete out the prizes, so I would have messed up there as well.

That's what Konig told me to do after things started to go haywire. I wasn't originally scheduled to run that particular event (let alone host the whole district)
I did eventually end up with 4 winners in district 2.

Wait, that means there were 8 winners and only 2 people had the correct phrase for Shew. o.0
6 people got prizes who didn't win.

still, it was great
i just missed all the changes in the wiki and other pages - seen it in the 'original' form and never bothered to look again, so was prepared for 'the jade armor costume' contest rather than the shining mantle one ;p

No no! My winners were smart. I did give them a little hint after each one had been to the 3 scouts. I told them to look at MantleCon's past and that's what led them to the phrase. All my winners deserved their prizes
