[mend] disbanded a long time ago, yes. But I do wonder in that point if you do hit top 50, was mend around that time? I doubt it! [mend] disbanded before NF was released. I lot of things were different back then, and damn its so much easier to hit top 100-200 now than back when [mend] was around. Active guilds, laddar system, more balance and simply more competitive.

We were around. See , Witness the Fitness and mend both came out of a split from a guild called We Are the Force. Then they both excelled, but WtF generally did better then mend. Mend disbanded, If I remember correctly, post-factions.

well have you ever thought that the reason aussies are falling apart as GW players is because they still call the HA TOPK???

If you read my whole message, it said that some people still call HA TOPK. I never said Aussies. I've seen Europeans do it, Americans, English and stuff. Even Eskimos. Now I've got school so I must be leaving you.

"the great" Seventh Sea Scurvy (oh yeah, so great) finished 18th at the end of propechies. That was half aussie half late night americans. No problem getting gvg's back then when Korea was in full swing. But now, anytime betweem 4pm and 11pm aussie time is a 1 hour wait for a match. Gay.

Most good/old players still call it Tombs. You ass. Gtfo out of the thread and gb2/pve.

There was a couple guilds in our timezone that were top 100, not all were Aussie guilds, but they had some Aussie players. That was a while ago though...

It wasn't exactly hard to get top 100 back then, to be honest.

True, but I mean, it's still an achievement It's harder now because you can either ladder grind for AGES, or do ATs...both of which are boring...

I had started making this today, and halfway through I thought to check if anyone else had already made something similar. And I found this topic

So here's what I threw together tonight:

http://www.augw.net

It's a community for Australian & NZ players. Essentially what anzgw.com used to be, but hopefully I can maintain 6 alive forums rather than 20 dead ones.

I have no idea how this will be received. I haven't even told my guildies yet...

I'll be contacting every Au/NZ GW player on my friends list (or more likely, those that I know are leaders of guilds) and encouraging them to sign up, whether PVP or not.

Get your info right first the Ha is not TOPK

Aussys would have more if they had a larger player base so until more people start to play nothing will change
Why come here and act the way you do and are you a parrot or do you just like repeating what the grape text writes? Caps shows your a nubet and I think its best if you stuck with pve.

GREAT NEWS!

Well, I've decided, and spoken to Nox, since I want to (personally) make Aus GW timezone lively again, I'm going to use Nox's website as our main base. So basically, what that means is that I'll be posting announcements in his forums, since augw.net is the new place to be. So in the guild recruitment section, any aussie who'd like to come GvG can join simply put your IGN, and I promise, you'll be invited.

The aussie community is one of those weird little inbred circles with way too many domestics to ever be a real force. All the semi decent groups are far too selective and die from inactivity/eventual drama. All the non-selective groups get an influx of people that cant play and eventually the semi decent players split, form a selective guild that then dies.

Oh and then people quit the game.

A recipe for success if ever i saw one.

Ahh, so true. I actually think from the past aussie guilds, the most I ever see is the starting and falling of them all the time. But most decent Australian PvPers are have either left or joined another guild thats composed of intentional players.
