Cathan New Year 2011
Cathan New Year 2011
I am here to represent the Cathan New Year event for the [bots] alliance (the brotherhood of the shadows).
Next year will be the year of the rabbit and I am here to reserve the International district 2 and the American districts 36 and 69 for the [bots] alliance Cathan New Year celebration.
Please attend the event if you can and if you are having a event please plan around this one.
Thank You

No offence intended, but this does seem a bit to early to start posting about a January event. Its a good idea to start "reserving" districts early though-it should save all those arguments between guilds.

I don't think its entirely early. They are just planning ahead and being prepared. We will be posting the details of our Canthan New Years Event after our meeting tomorrow.
We are planning on reserving ALL of the Asian districts (Chinese, Japanese and Korean...the same as last year during "Eye of the Tiger") as we have several guilds/alliances teaming up with us
More surprises to come later on with this..of course

This thread is going to be fun once new players (aka players who dont know what "reserving a district for CNY" means) will find it.
Like last year

yes a celestial bunny!!! Cant wait (and time to stock up on those trophies....yes I like to give them to the chefs even in sponsered districts--you get tokens in return, very useful!)..some of those trophies are harder to get (smoking remains anyone??)
and yes it is NOT too early....in the next few weeks peeps will be going away for thanksgiving and xmas in RL (and/or finishing up finales/term papers) and new years (for the older peeps like me)....so preparing now for something only a few short weeks away is not unheard of (have you done your xmas shopping yet??? )

I just wanted to plan early because I don't want to have a fiasco with barbies or anyone else's plan.

I think it's a great idea although the New Year is closer to the end of January this time.
Yeah, cosy, I'm with you. I have 43 Guardian Moss saved from my Luxon vanquishing.

Yeah, to be fair, its a good idea to start farming inbetween now and Wintersday, then farm again after wintersday until the event. However, I'm up for being lazy again this year and stealing of another district-I found farming them way to hard. Then again, I am very unlucky, and took full parties on NM farms-not the best idea...

We will post more details in a few weeks too. This is just a reserve list so I can make sure no one gets our spots.
