Hello Everyone!

Its time to get excited about Pink and finding a cure for Cancer! While we are specifically keeping Breast Cancer Research in mind, October is Cancer Awareness Month! With that, we have some exciting plans for Pink Day in La this year!

Now, let's talk about INGAME!

So far we have 15 Sponsored Districts!!! ( WHOOOO!!!!*crowds go crazy*) Thanks to fantastic volunteers from the community! If you want to join our crazy crew of volunteers, please head to the volunteer thread on this forum for more information! Our next meeting in September 24th! We really took into consideration the fact that 33 districts spawned last year, so we don't want anyone to feel "Left out!" \o/

The districts are hosted as follows, but might change as the date gets closer! (and as we add more districts!)

**The first 6 districts are GWEN Staff supported and friends of the crew, however this does not mean that we will be the only groups with tons of giveaways! You DO NOT need to be in district 1 to experience all of the fun! Each district will be doing 24 trivia questions at the same time through the 6 hours.**

What does it mean to be in a hosted district?

ANSWER: Each hosted district will have minigames, trivia and caterers handing out random goodies. The Trivia prizes are going to be quite valuable so you won't want to miss out!

We will be hosting an on-air stream at gw-en.com where you can win several ingame and real life prizes as well! In the event our stream is full that day, guildwars2live.com will be streaming our radio station as well! So do check both places to tune in

Please include your IGN (In-Game Name) with your donation if you are contributing. This will be helpful for us when it comes to the prize drawing list. All people who donate will have a set of prizes that they have a chance to win for contributing! What you need to do:

1. Post your IGN along with your real name (optional) when donating. Remember to click "Support Rhonda" to donate.(IF you do not play Guild Wars, make sure your name is included as some of the prizes are NOT in-game items )

I'd rather have them doing something to bring more new players to the game, or helping newbies, than giving me stuff.
In the game I'm like an old man that has done everything and is just waiting to die now, while giving a piece of advice to any willing kid that wants to listen. XD

But me doesn't needing any of the prices doesn't mean I won't participate. My sister had breast cancer, after all.

There are minimal prizes that are actually in-game. If you by chance win one of the runs armors etc you could always use it to help out one of the new comers. As we cannot really code anything special ourselves to bring in new waves of players to a 6 year old game we offer prizes to them on a daily basis on the streams at gw-en.com as well as bigger prizes during our major events such as Pink Day in LA.

Our hosts, as well as many others who donate have done much in the game as well and wish to help others out so they can be found farming, running, doing dungeons with newer players to help support and build the community often times with tons of rewards.

The post cards/shirts/bandana's/etc alot of them are collectible items, with signatures from devs, fans, other people you may have came across their name a time or two. Lots of people do enjoy collecting various things to help spruce up their home, office, and in some cases basements and attics.

Also this isn't the full prize list. More will be added as the day approaches so everyone can keep that in mind as well.
