Hey. I am the Guild Wars player known (barely) as Valor, warrior player for Idiot Savants [iQ] during the world championship era of Guild Wars. I played with iQ at the GWFC in Germany where we took 2nd winning $25,000.

Stream will be up on launch day at least 3 hours before the official launch time, I’m sure you all know why... I will return and bump when streaming commences. I will also send out a tweet when the stream is starting @iQ Valor.

Gameplay will mostly be pvp with other iQ players. I will likely be playing warrior, guardian, or ranger.

Another original iQ player, Zrave, will most likely be streaming as well. Check him out at http://www.twitch.tv/zrave. Other core players from Guild Wars may play/stream as well.

I was a fan of your warrior and IQ, followed on Twitch.

How are you liking GW2? I'm really missing the old mechanics and not enjoying the button smashing that's going on.

Hey Valor,

I'm a sort of old school pvp'er as well (early 06-late08). I'm very curious to hear your (or anyone else's) thoughts on GW2 PvP - I own it, but cannot run it as I need a new comp. I've heard very mixed reviews, and since I cannot get in touch with old friends, I thought I'd come on here to find PvP reviews of GW2.

I started playing 1 again and had forgotten how much I love the PvP mechanics of Guild Wars.... It saddens me to find that the gameplay mechanics for 2 have changed so much. I can only hope that arena net will make good pvp again for us. Maybe I'm wrong about my assumptions because it's just that - an assumption. I have not played 2 yet.
