Greetings gurus.

It says at the top of this section that if we have any announcements to make, we can do it here. So I am.

There is a group on Facebook called "Guild Wars: A New Hope". It has nearly 2100 members as I write this, and is growing steadily daily. It has come to my attention that many people on guru aren't aware of its existence. The group is now a year old.

It's a self-styled last bastion of active community who love GuildWars, and serves a few purposes including arranging runs, meeting other players, trading (although there is also a separate group called "Kamadan" for that), and asking / answering questions about anything GuildWars. There is one for the sequel too, and one of the jobs of the moderators is the ensure that the group for the first game does not spill over into discussion about the second game.

Someone was careless enough to make me a moderator over there, (the Kamadan group too) with 6 or 7 others, and the admin team is quite active.

It is important to add (the moderators here only allowed me to make this thread on this condition) - Guildwarsguru.com (or the hosts Curse) are nothing to do with these Facebook groups, and as such cannot accept responsibility for anything that happens over there. They are entirely separate.
