So as the curtain comes down on our beloved guildwarsguru, we stand at a crossroads.

Somehow, and against all the odds, a small group from the Facebook page has put together a new forum which is intended to take over from guru when they pull the plug.

Membership is growing, but it's the content that will make the difference. There will be no archive of guru, and the way back machine can't get into password protected logs. It's up to us to transfer the content from guru. Transfer your threads to the new forum now before it's too late, and we lose all the data.

Builds, maps, screenshots, collections, guides, team compositions, gameplay tactics, external links..., bring them all while we still can. There's a small window of opportunity to do this, as Curse have said they'll shut guru down sometime in June, and all the data remains their intellectual property.

The team is working on a way to import the most important threads.

Great site Max. Thanks to you and your team... one simple thing Id like to have changed though is the colour scheme for the entry fields. Black fields on black backgrounds may feel like I was in the Hitchhikers "Disaster Area" space ship while registering ; ).

Maybe keep the black background, but change the fields to medium Grey or Beige depending on if they have been filled or not?
