I noticed this ages ago, but I convinced myself it's not because GW always uses the same skins for totally different things (saving time bs). Think of the temple in the jungle and the HA thing.

The world of Guild Wars is littered with numerous ways of returning from certain death..
Ress shrines, Spells, Ghosts, etc I think the storyteller had foresight enough to have a "life insurance", before telling the Emperors Trusted Bodyguard (Shiro) that the Emperor was up to no good. I hate how disjointed the story is in Guild Wars. It never explains WHY the Fortune Teller filled Shiro's head with all that drivel in the first place. Even some weak side story about her being a denied concubine to the Emperor or some BS like that would have been feasible.
For that matter, it never really explains why Shiro wanted to turn back into a human and take Cantha over anyway. Hmm, be a mortal emperor, or be an Eternal Emissary? Uhh duhh.... |
