If any of you have the cinematic (if not go download it) open it and scroll
at 2:05 of the movie.
You will see that Shiro is NOT hurt from the blades, but he actally pushes them over and then somehow explodes..
Could this be from the Emperor?

Discuss I guess..

Just as they are about to swing he pushes them over..
Which means he 'exploded' because of what he got from the Emperor..

Arch and Viktor strike from the front (2:04)

In the scene immediately after, they are to the side. Note Archemorus, on the left during the charge. He is swinging to the left from your point of view during the charge. After the 'push', his sword is fully swung to the left. Likewise with Viktor on the opposing side, and side, though they charged from the front.

Conclusion : the two of them tore him nearly in half with two devastating lateral cuts that brought the swords completely through him as they swept past him, and the force of his death knocked them away from him, to the SIDES, despite this was not the way they were incoming from.

So no, YOU watch it again

That's a case of "realism" against "standards." Realistically, there should have been a lot of blood in the Factions cinematic, but you never see any because the game is rated TEEN and what might be appropriate for a MATURE game can't necessarily make it into the animation.

Likewise, we probably should see the swords making contact, but it's neither good for the rating nor for the movie, since due to how fast the scene goes by you just assume Shiro's exploding because he's been hurt. I mean, Nika (still can't believe they changed how Vizu looks) cut him good, and then he "started" exploding. Kind of.

You don't see the impact per se, but you see them both on their afterswing after cutting completely through him because the strike happens in the split second the view changes, and because of game rating

You can, however, trace movement paths to see what happened.

Chuck Norris actually came in and roundhouse kicked Shiro in the face... it was so fast that the human eye couldn't catch it. Thats what really started the jade winds. In reality shiro owed Chuck Norris money. Why do you think he was scrounging coins in that first cut scene?

Shiro only attacked the emperor because he need cash and some loyalist said he would give him a nice bag of plat if he succeeded. Shiro went insane and killed the fortune teller because Chuck Norris appeared in her crystal ball.

The video sequences of the Raisu Palace and Sanctum are seriuosly screwed up. Camera angles, voiceovers, npc placement, scripting - everything is totally shot for those to cutscenes.

why the hell did shiro turn to jade when he died at sanctum ????

When he reformed a body, he did so by consuming the power of a royal, like he did before. Killing him triggered another jade scream, which was contained in the shield-sphere, therefore turning him to jade.

Even if that's true, you could at least put some thought into it. Lore forum is staggering enough as it is.
