Default The Margonites: Fourth Game?

I was traveling around in the desert and found a Ghostly Hero in the Thirsty River, talking about a group of people called the Margonites. He said that they were a sea dwelling...

"Like most others who have come to the Crystal Desert, the Margonites arrived expected to be able to find a physical means with which to reach the heavens. All they found was a disappointment, an endless supply of sand, and eventually their own mortality."

Me:The Margonites?

"It might be hard to believe, but many hundreds of years ago, much of the sand and sun-baked dunes were completly underwater. The Margonnites,as you might have surmised by their architecture, were a sea-going culture."

...What ever happened to these guys? Is there still an underwater city left?

It is possible that the Crystal Desert was abruptly raised when the kingdon of Orr fell beneath the waves. If so, then the Vizier could not have been the primary cause of their demise because the Margonites came to a desert, not a sea.

No doubt, they may account for some of those bleached bones . . ..

Ah, but the Ancient Elonians were in the desert long before the destruction of Orr and it was a desert in their time too, based on the fact that the ocean dried up and became Sand when while the Margonites were still messing around in there.
Besides, i thought that was where all deserts came from, oceans drying up due to climate changes.

And don't forget, the Margonites could be connected to the Luxons...

Also, there is another group called the Seekers, mentioned in Seeker's Passage.

Just to clear things up, the Margonites came long before the Elonians, when only a few parts of what is now the desert weren't underwater. One of these parts was the area of Thirsty River.

The Elonians travelled into the Desert probably by foot, heading west from Kourna, the kingdom in Elona that we know borders the Desert. By the time they arrived, the sea had dried up. The Amnoon Oasis is probably the last remnant of all that water, prevented from evaporating by the nearby sea.

I think there could be some mother continent that the Margonites and Luxons originally left to become a sea-going culture. There may have been some motive for them to leave, like an invasion, or famine/drought.

The desert is home to a wide variety of secrets .The Margonites are dead though ,I doubt that 1.A-net will do teh same thing twice by resurrecting a dead civilization. and 2.There are any margonites left. Luxons aren't Margonites ,if anything, Margonites are Luxons ,because Luxons have been in Cantha for several hundreds of years as well.Perhaps before the jade sea turned to jade ,There were a group of people that wished to flee from the unending chaotic war between suxons and noobzicks ,and in stead achieve ascension to for teh gods to hear their plea .

Actually ,something gives me the feeling that there wont even be a new continent in the fourth chapter, but just a new storyline involving all 3/2 existing nations ,that would be cool eh ?

about secrets ,im goign to make a new thread on one.

how could the luxons NOT have been there before the jade sea turned to jade? Considering that it was archemorous and saint viktor who released shiros death wail which did it? If a luxon turned the sea to jade (albiet with the help of a kurzick and an intrepid assasin) surely they would have been there beforehand?

the margonites who went to the crystal desert are dead. nothing is said of where they came from or what happened to the civilization they left behind. just like the elonians, it was probably a small group who came to the crystal desert. theres no "ressurecting" of any dead civilizations involved.

that said i don't think the margonites or luxons are related. so what if they're both sea faring nations? is there any other shred of evidence pointing to a connection?
