Default The mursaat created by the gods?

You all know about the mursaat in the prophecies campaign of guild wars, how you fought against them because of there human sacrifices. But the human sacrifices we're created to keep the door of komalie closed. Which is basically trying to protect all races of tyria including us humans from the reign of the titans again. My basic question is, if they WERE created by the gods to protect tyria and its races, why would glint oppose the mursaat knowing that they we're trying to protect tyria?

Maybe thats the classical draconian side of her, hoard, kill and manipulate. I mean if prior to the mursaat mass intervention you were 1 of very few super powerful beings then suddenly theres a massive plot controling social and political futures as well as rivaling you for power your gonna be upset. So when the mursaat Wtf pwnt the seers that was the last straw, now theres no buffer zone between either force and you. so create a prophecy, because you are still super powerful, to spell their end and then make sure it happens.

I think it is more likely the the titans were created by another foe, possibly the seer race as a war machine against the Mursaat. As the seers lost the was the titans became more and more out of control and were sealed. The the seal started to loose it's power the Mursaat had to turn to other sourses to keep the seal powered.

The titans to me seem a magical creation, the embodiment of destruction. The Mursaat are holding them back, and I've theorized that it could be the right to hold the Door that the Mursaat and Seer's Race (not the Seers, no evidence of that) fought over (no proof though).

My stated idea is that Glint and the Seer are working together to free the Titans, knowing that the Mursaat will be overrun, and then either have the chosen repair the damage or simply chill in their hidden grain of sand in the desert.

Im wondering if the Forgotten have fought with the Mursaat, and those enchanted armors are the bound souls of Mursaat, kind of like the Mursaat's Jades.

Or maybe the corpses of dead mursaat, raised by Forgotten necromancers. Definately a strong resemblance there.

Probably somthing alike the lines of reanimated armour brought back by the necromacners as stated above, but i really think the fact that they look alike is trivial, because isn't the armour of both the monsters from long ago? like post guild wars times? could just be the style of then.. lol

The post about the enchanted and the mursaat resemblance is interesting. Maybe they have fought since the forgotten/enchanted is the army of glint and glint opposes the mursaat. Or the enchant could be reanimated mursaat..
Interesting.

The Enchanted resemble nearly exactly the Mursaat armor... perhaps the Forgotten found Mursaat armor (bodies decayed after they died in the war against the Seer's race or simply from desert exposure hunting a bloodstone?) and animated it.

Maybe the Mursaat have fought before in the desert and their armors have been enchanted to rise again, probably by Forgotten/Glint. But there can be nothing said of why they fought and died in the desert. Were they on the side of good or evil?
Corpses can be used by Necromancers from both sides of a war.

The forgotten really look like the mursaat.

i believe that all the above reasons is possible but what if mursaat after they died found in the after live the true meaning of what they were really here to do...

Maybe as their name says they are the forgotten reasons that their race is in our world for.. i really dont know i have to think this through.. ill post when i reach a not this bad conclusion lol...

Ooh, good catch. So Glint and her army of Forgotten use enchanted/soul bound Mursaat armors? Juicy. Suggests things about the war which created the Crystal Desert, doesn't it?

I wonder if Jade Armors contain the soul of a Forgotten or of a Seer?

I dunno... that's a pretty good find, but Anet has been known to recycle their art. Just look at Evennia and the male Paragon, and how that debate started to rage.
