Default Did someone say the end of the world?

I was wondering how Guild Wars will will finally end in its own lore. Considering nothing lasts forever; how do you think the big finally will take place?

It took place twice so far.

In Prophecies, we unleashed the Titans, yet recovered.
In Nightfall, Nightfall came.... and went because of our doing.

So we're basically involved in lots of catastrophies, yet seem to be able to stop or prevent too much damage each time

So you think that, there is a possibly that all these events are damaging the world little by little sending it into some sort of oblivious state? That would be ironic if you think about it; after all that trying to save the world all the heroes ever accomplish was destroying it. So neither good nor evil actually wins; “the tragedy of life” that’s what it will amount too.

bah Gwen needs no Charr army, she'll just ask the Gods to get her broken flute then blow them up when their backs are turned.

Well all the nations have been crippled at somepoint and are still suffering from the aftermath of a potentially end of the world events (luckily in each case humans managed to survive) on top of the event which our chars take part in.

these events being:
Tryia - The Searing & the guildwars
Cantha - The Jade wind
Elona - The Scarab Plague & the rise of Joko

You know, something that struck me the other day.

What do Tyria and Elona have in common? The Crystal Desert. Once an inland sea known as the Crystal Sea, destroyed in a magical cataclysm.

And what do we find in Cantha? The Jade Sea, and inland sea transformed into jade by a magical cataclysm.

Well... If I was a native of that world, I know what I'd be doing: Moving as far AWAY from any and all inland seas as possible!

(Beetletun, watch out!)
