I've never heard of these demigoddesses before. Does anyone have any information about them?

There are three major clans in Luxon society... So my guess is that each of these demigoddesses are linked to a different clan. The gods in Celtic mythology are the spirits of legendary ancestors who were given the power of the divine, and maybe the three queens are similar to this.

On the other hand, the Kurzicks have about 4-5 Houses... whats your point?

the only problem that I can see is that these three demigoddeses aren't even mentioned in GuildWars at all, only on this portion of the website.

I looked into it a little further, but Elora is also the leader of one of the clans.... still alive. The other two have different names.

5 Houses - one for each of the Five Gods.

I don't think there's a connection between the major kurzick houses and the five gods; nothing in-game suggests one either. As for the three queens, the fact that they exist as real people makes them less than gods IMO. Perhaps the Luxon worship of them can be compared to the worship ancient civilizations rendered to their monarchs.

Actually the Kurzick historian in House Zu Heltzer states just that. I forgot exactly which house corresponds to which god, but if you talk to some people in the different outposts you can find out.

A NPC in Cavalon (clan historian?) tells you about the luxon demi goddesses.

That was a point that I tried to make in my earlier post, although I didn't word myself that clearly.

I don't think that is just a coincidence. It could be that the clan leader Elora is named after the demigoddess Elora due to a (possible family?) connection somewhere - many children born into influential families are named after their predecessors up the bloodline or in the history of succession in the hope that the name will bear some weight in society.

Actually, he doesn't. I checked with him a few times, these three are only mentioned on the website. (The historian of clans just gives you a brief history of the current leaders of the three clans)

Remember that they're demigoddesses, not goddeses, they still have their human nature about them.

Like I said before, what strikes me the most isnt the fact that these three women have an explanation for being in the game, but the fact that they aren't mentioned at all within the game itself. It pretty much the only piece of lore that isn't from within the game itself.
