Zhed dident like him and he only used him so we could get to the bone palace and learn how to ride wurms he said something to the dead people in the cut scene but I forget what

Although Joko would make a great villain it wouldnt fit in with gws style so far, since it would require the same Elona map with a few changes to represent the years advancing, which is what weve wanted for Tryia for so long but hasnt happened. Besides how many Undead army fights do u wanna have, every chapter so far has been about Gods and Undead, it would be nice to not have that again for a 4th time. NF is meant to end the triliogy storyline after all

i doubt joko would be the villain, there is a tont aht points to it being a unreliable idea, games need new land to explore and fight on. re-using the old maps would mess with people who dont have that expansion. and joko is pretty much in the center of elona, and tyria.

i dont think joko is out of the entire loop though. they emphasized a lot on how joko is great with deals, and since we know so little on him... id wager he became as powerful as he is with some deal. but with who? hmm?

I have a gut feeling Pawala will not be the bad guy, at least not the bad guy we fight.

See, all our major enemies so far were betrayers. They played the good guy. We trusted them all the way, and then they turn their back on us. The lich helped us through most of the game, and then attacked; the white mantle were supposed to be the good guys, Varesh was occupying a "good" position until late in the NF campaign; I did't play Factions storyline yet but I'm pretty sure its the same thing there.

Pawala, on the other hand, is honest. He speaks what he thinks. He makes no illusion that he's the bad guy. For that reason, I don't think we'll fight him, it'd just be too plain for ANet. Probably it'll be twisted like other stuff, but in the other direction - I'd rather bet on Pawala ending up being the good guy.

Perhaps a later story will reveal that he was actually the rightful owner of the kingdom he lost during that big battle, and that the land now owned by the Princes belong to him.

Personally, I'd rather side with good ol witty Pawala than those snobbish and ignorant Princes (especially that Theater prince).

Dude, what are you smoking? Varesh was never a 'good' person. We hate her before we're level 10 O_o. And it's not the same thing there. We find out on starter island that Shiro Tagachi killed an emperor, caused the jade wind, and is back - and we can be certain he's not back to repent.

Nah. He's still evil in that dusty raisin-sized black heart of his.

Good ol witty Palawa [It's Palawa, not Pawala Anderson] is called the Scourge of Vabbi for a reason. His hymn should be "I ain't no nice guy, after all". Seriously.

Since they tied up many chapter lose ends in Nightfall. My guess would be on something a little more original than repeat characters.

Now that we know how he moved his forces, we can prepare for his next invasion. He will attack again, I am sure of it. It may not be soon, but Palawa Joko can afford to wait until we are dead and gone. Sooner or later he will seek rule over Elona again. The Scourge of Vabbi can hold his breath for an eternity if need be...
This, combined with the fact that 1) Palawa is in an outpost in Elona, and 2) his army is in no state to invade anyone at this point, tell me that if we ever fight Palawa again, it will be after we're pulled into the future to defeat his reborn rampaging horde that's threatening the world.
That would at least solve any lore issues we have with fighting Palawa.

Considering its pretty blatant the next chapters gonna have 'arctic' feel... so.. really cold... guessin some kinda dwarven thing.

They've tied up loose ends, and some new ideas would be cool, so something about the Great Dwarf + Great Destroyer + arctic GW imo = GW4

Kormir started this whole Abaddon mess by reading the Apocrypha, and eventually ended up taking his place. Sounds tome like Kormir and Abaddon took everyone for fools (including the 5, Varesh, the demons and US) in a bid to free Abaddon's power whilst appeasing the 5, who convinced that Kormir is a good girl and that Abaddon was defeated, allowed Abaddon's energy in the form of Kormir to take up his former place.
All the pieces seem to fit. Kormir may well be the new super villain.

Or may not.

The whole Abaddon mess had started way before Kormir read the Apocrypha......

I also dont think Kormir would even come close to the next villain. Why would she? what reason does she have?. From what most of the ghosts in torment say Kormir has let herself into a never ending curse from quotes like:

"Poor Kormir, poor sad goddess raised up to the stars, cursed to see only the infinite blackness between them..."

I also dont think Joko would be the next Villain. He is only Elonas worry and having seen "well-to-do hero types" take on a dark fallen god and live...... i dont think he would be up for taking over the world anytime soon...

Jokos army is a mess (as seen by the cutscene before u arrive at his citadel) hes in no position to challenge anyone.

And if he were to try again, it would take him years to prepare which would mean a big time leap which would something not consistant with gw, since else our chars should be either massivly aged or dead.

As for Kormir i believe she could be the 1st of the new gods, since the 5 gods are refered to as the old gods, it makes sence that perhaps they will be a full set of new gods. (possibly Joko as God of Dead, that would suit him, people worshipping him in death, and having control of the underworld)

Or alternativly the end result being the true chosen ie ur heros who have ascended, become Wen su cho (or what ever its called ) etc become the new gods of tryia with Kormir. Guardians of all, restoring balance, (well theve made a good job so far )
