Those are just generic giant decorative chitinous tentacles, showing how close Abaddon got to corrupting Elona and turning it into realm of torment. They come from the groung to show how the land itself is bing corrupted.

I dont think its a snake maybe a dragon?!?!?!.....and it probably is just for that evil touch. well I dont know where the orr is ...is it under the sands? If so its probably a statue from there like the top of a tower or something. Theres also a lost spirit standing in it so...

^Orr is under the ocean, and they are just more of those tentacles that were first introduced in tomb of the primeval kings.

The "snakes" are tentacles. The statue is just a statue that falls and goes up a lot. >_>

The "snakes" (aka bone tentacles) have been there since the UW was introduced. Go to the Bone Pits and you'll find some - and the reaper there mentions the realm of torment.
