The only thing I know they have said about races is that there will not be Elves inside the world of Guildwars because Elves are so commonly used and tons of other stuff.

Yah if it fits into Guild Wars lore there is nothing wrong with dwarves or centaurs. Guild Wars already is different then most of the things in the fantasy medium. For example, there are no orcs, no elves, no magical casters in long robes, (despite the fact that ele's have robes they're atypical) no stereotypical evil races (everyone is either good or bad, even the Charr are not all evil), etc. Arena.net has already proven that they have a keen eye when it comes to innovation and I doubt they would go ahead and release 8-10 playable races with Chapter 4.

Still, a race such as centaur or tengu would be perfectly acceptable as long as they found a way to balance them in combat. Even dwarves are ok as Guild Wars dwarve's are also very different from typical fantasy dwarves i.e. they don't live underground, they are not masters of armor forging (while that's not necessarily a bad thing), and they are not all of a like mind.

I just dont see what the problem is.. they do new armors for every new human profession they do, so why would it be so hard to make armors for a new class??

If they made playable races like Tengu they would probably not put in all old armors for them eg Luxon,Kurzick,Primeval....

Would follow the same path as Assassin and Ritualist in Elona.

Yes they also get Ancient armor. But they did not get all the armor sets. only two high end ones. A playable Tengu race moving from its home chapter to say Elona would ether get no armors or only a select few just like the Assassin and Ritualist.

This thread appears to be moving more and more off topic. We cant really speculate on any lore until we are given a title or a continent.

You tried to move a asassin, rit, paragon or dervish to tyria?? No armor there.. Or a dervish/paragon to Cantha?? No armor. They have not made the armors of older chapters for the charakters of newer chapters yet, so why would they do so just coz they create tengus??

On the other hand, they could get less armors in future chapters, yes.

Yes i have played a Ritualist and Dervish through Tyria and do know that they have no armors in past chapters. I was only stating that its what Anet would do - put some armors in or none at all.

I am not trying to jump at my throat, sorry if it seemed that way. All I ment is that I find it unlikely that they will make any old armors for the new class if that would make one, which I highly doubt.
