Glint in GW:EN
Let's face it she's the freaking prophecy of Prophecies. There has got to be some logic that she'll also been in GW:EN. She;s said to have been made by the Gods of Tyria. (Not sure which ones) and that she makes predictions of the future of Tyria. I'm thinking that seeing if we push back the Charr or not in GW:En relates to the future of Tyria.
So whats the deal? Why isn't there anything in the PC Gamer article about her?

Thats the thing. She is the one that made the Flameseeker Prophecies. She helps the heros because it will go with the prophecy. The Heros do not know what to do and so they go to Glint for answers.
EotN sounds like a simple investigation and by then the heros have stopped a plague from a evil bodyguard, stopped titans and defeated a fallen god. Earthquakes happen - underground caves are found - off go the Heros to investigate. So i dont see Glint really having a use since (and it sounds like this from the magazine) the heros will be finding out about the Great Destroyer through the Asuras ressistance.
Though you never know. She could make some kind of cameo.

lol though i doubt that it would happen i could just imagine it,...
hey who are we to say what is going to and not going to happen i suppose thats the best part about, the whole shock thing about whats going to happen next in the storyline.
though while playing nightfall i was under the constent tyrany of people saying things like in the ruins of morah mission "omg once you kill varesh a big hole thingy opens up and sucks us in" so it kinda gave it away =/
i think the best 1 ever was 'wow abbadon is a head a HEAD ABbaDon a HEAD!!@"
either way, i think it would be nice to have glint in GW:EN though that is just my opinion, im just so found of that old bat....

Well as I have been saying ever since Prophesies; Glint always knew who the Flameseeker was, but she never warns you about it. And wasnt the whole Searing and the Vizier his betrayal by reading the ancient scrolls all part of Abaddon's greater design? Apparently, when she wrote the Prophecies (300 years ago i think?), she was under the influence of Abaddon. And 200 years ago he tainted Shiro. He has been crawling up for a long time. Glint is created by the gods and stays in contact with them. But this also includes Abaddon probably.

Where did you get this info? I quote Glint:
"It was almost 800 years ago when I first saw the Flameseeker Prophecies."
If she made the Prophecies, I'm pretty sure she would have said that she created or wrote them.
...unless you mean the concept of her putting the whole course of events into the form and flow of a prophecy.
I hope Glint does reappear, hopefully with a larger (and not-evil) role. She's one of my favorite characters.

From the timeline:
"272 AE: Glint Complies the Flameseeker Prophecies"
Quote:
Glint is a Dragon of ancient age - nearly 3000 years old. She is a prophet and an oracle, making prophecies about the future of Tyria
|
Quote:
The Flameseeker Prophecies are a collection of proclamations foreseen by the dragon Glint (according to her) over 800 years prior to the present day in the game
|
So by saw she means actually seeing the events - not the Prophecies on a scroll of something. I also like how everyone deems her evil...yet she has done nothing to oppose the heros.

So true, so many claim she's evil, and so many (usually the kind of people you wouldn't find here at GWGuru) keep saying Glint is a he, obviously they avoid all dialog, quest descriptions, and lore.
The two latter quotes are from wiki IIRC, so I wouldn't be sure about those. I don't see the year 272 AE (and since you put AE I assume this is by the Mouvelian Calendar) in the Prophecies manual's timeline.
Back on topic, Glint is good. Sheesh! You should all have seen enough movies to know Prophets are supposed to not help you out that much and to not tell you everything, that you need to learn such on your own, blah blah blah.

Actually i took the timeline part out of the Nightfall book. Putting it in the Prophecies books would ruin a few parts and Nightfall has most of the events of the past two games in its Timelines. It is listed in its 3 calenders - Mouvelian,Elonian and Canthan. I took the Mouvelian Part.
