I can imagine random Wammo A witnessing random Monk B using the "bambi" emote.... and looking at it in confusion for some moments before asking: "Just what is that meant to be? Some sort of funny-looking horned kirin? A warden with an elongated face?"

... Just when was the last time anyone saw an actual deer in Guild Wars anyway? I mean... there are wolves... and tigers.... and even phoenixes of various sorts..... but I don't recall ever having seen a deer.

So in a world without deer.... what would the people think of a deer emote anyway?

and soon ill be going back to ha for the tiger

but ya i se deers everywhere...
altho if i emote infront of some1 who nvr saw that, they cant wait to do it themselves

That is what SotiCoto is asking.

Why would they have a deer emote when deer do not exist in the game.

Just as well have an assault rifle emote, since that doesn't exist in the game either.

They should change it to some sort of cow emote like you see in Shing Jea and Pre Sear Ascalon.

Got another question: what actually happens when you type "/rank"? Does that summon an illusion of an animal or maybe... a spirit of an animal? Now what is the major prototypical resource for spirits? Dead things! You kill something, a spirit pops up. So in order for the spirit of a deer to appear the original deer has to be killed. Since there may be many bambi spirits (emotes) seen at the same time it is fair to assume that each individual emote summons a different spirit of a different deer and, therefore, kills a deer. Since lots of people have r3 there are very few deers left alive.

Conclusion: whenever you type "/rank" Grenth kills a bambi.

Its just a little magical gift from the gods where it allows u to summon an image of a creature.

I would imagine the deer is either a raindeer, deers are extinct or most likly we simply havnt seen one yet (they could live in south of Ascalon in areas we havnt visited etc.)
