Maybe she will have taken over torment (and given it a more friendly name ) and the quests (assuming we can go there) would be to defeat the few remaining rebels who still pray to Abbadon.

I sure we will see more of her statues maybe even in Guild Wars Eye of the North, maybe hidden so as not to spoil the story for those who haven't finished Nightfall.

You currently are spoiling the story yourself...
btw, why shouldn't they be placed allover the expansion? It takes place few years AFTER Nightfall... one could assume, the job in Elona is already done... and i don't see a reason to buy an EXPANSION, if you haven't finished campaigns you currently posses
