Default Any idea how large GW 2 will be (like in square km)?

Im not sure if this goes into lore (infact im pretty sure it doesnt but could think of a better place). So my question is if they have decided abouts how physically large GW2 is going to be (like the first batch). I would love a absolutely huge game myself where its really hard to actually go everywhere and see everything. GW was pretty big and cartographer we fun to get cause you got to see so many different things than in the regular way of the game. I dont know maybe a huge world is not for some but i think it could be nice

I assume it'll cover most of the Tyrian continent.

Maybe the regions south of the Crystal Desert will come in an expansion.

They probably have decided, but we haven't been told anything.

I would suspect that GW2 would include the lands of Kryta, Elona, and Cantha. This is backed by the supposed storyline, or lore of gw2, that the Dragon that woke in the Central Transfer Chamber was just one of many, and with that one waking, they rest were awaken. Additionally, if the storyline of GW2 that I read was correct, then the awakening of these dragons would effect the world, not just kyrta. While it doesn't mention any of the dragon's attacking elona itself, Istan is probably destroyed by these dragons in the same was Lion's Arch and the costal towns of Kryta were. Elona has more problems with the rampaging Palawa Joko destroying Vabbi.

tl;dr: All of Tyria, although everything will either be destroyed or rampaging with undead.

It will be so big, you'll have to mount a warrior and make the warrior use sprint.
