I think Razah has some big evil plans even he himself isn't aware of... I mean Abbadon created him for a reason. I'm pretty certain that we will find out about his purpose in GW2.

Maybe he's Abbadon incarnated?

Well my guess is Razah is probably the key to stopping the Ancient Dragons once and for all, but thats just me.

I think GW2 should have the return of many GW1 characters.

Razah
Gatekeeper of the HoH. If your account is linked to a GW1 one...
"Ah, <player>. I have heard tales of your heroics - I once fought among your ancestors. You truly are an honor to your lineage, I shall let you steal a bit from the HoH chest before the match begins."

If you aren't linked...
"HEY, <PLAYER>! YOU DIDN'T PLAY THE ORIGINAL GUILD WARS! YOU SUCK!"
Then he gives you 30DP which cannot be removed until the match is over.

Zhed
It's obvious now - since GW2 won't have map travelling (probably won't at least), Zhed will run a TAXI SERVICE in all major towns! You can ride him from one major city to another. For a price. If you are linked to a GW1 account, you get a discount!

In all seriousness, I hope GW2 will give us GW1ers some privileges - we should get treats for being with ANet through thick and thin - and to show off.

Can't remember who said it, but I was fairly sure ArenaNet wanted to keep map travel.

They're even putting an ingame explanation for it, in the form of Asura gates. I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that every location you can map to in GW2 will have a gate.

I would have to agree with draxynnic on the map traveling, using the asura gates make it more "realistic" then simply "pressing a spot on the map."

My assumption is that there will be no standard map travel, but in most major towns there will be Asura Gate networks to take you to other major towns.

Because, unless we have trains by GW2, the Shiverpeaks aren't very fun to cross - someone dies EVERY TIME if you know what I mean.
