Well wether or not he is truly gone depends on if a soul disappears forever if you kill it in the game.
A soul, depending on the game or story, can either be indestructible or just as fragile *or more fragile* as the person's life. If it is indestructible, shiro and the others that we killed are still around, in the UW/RoT. However, if the soul disappears forever after you 'kill' it, then we will never see Shiro and the Lich again.
So, really it depends with ANet on if Shiro is gone for good or not. Same with the Lich and all the other souls we killed in the UW, FoW, and RoT. But I must say that it sounds as if they do not come back, therefore we won't see any of them again.

Everything (Other than the Keepers and the heroes) in the Realm of Torment are spirits. Since Shiros mortal body was destroyed back in Cantha we could assume that the Shiro in Torment was the spirit. Although then again Abaddon could of built him a new body. But ether way he wouldnt be able to come back because 1 if he was a spirit hes been destroyed and 2 if Abaddon had recreated him hes also be overthrown therefore he wont be bringing him back. I think Shiro is done.

I think that was a spirit that we fought, but in the chance that it was a real body, if we killed him with a 3rd body, then killed Abaddon, Shiro would still come back because Abaddon never made Shiro come back, he was just there, only thing Abaddon would have done is give him a new body, so there is a chance that we see him in the UW or RoT of GW2 if it was a new body.

I'd like to see more then Cantha, Tyria and Elona... new continent... new Tyria! New graphics where when you get on it... you won't recognize it's Lions Arch as we know it... or Kaineng City or anything else for that matter... I sure won't buy GW2 if the mapping is just like Tyria or Cantha or Elona... I mean it's 250 year - people evolve, modernize :P, change, ground moves and that dragons are on the loose some are burnt... new graphics and terrain PLEASE!

the dragons hate everything and would be like RAR!
hmm wonder if Abbadon with his full forces would stand a chance against all of them

About LA, its flooded so it won't be the same.
About Cantha and Elona, unknown if we can go there in the first game *I hope we can*
I'm sure the graphics will be as good *if not better* then the ones in EN, and I'm sure they will change many things, as there will be "corruption" all over.

I'm sure they would initially, because when the dragons wake up, they have no army, seeing how the Destroyers are basically gone. They create it once they wake up, so it depends on if Abaddon, Dhuum, and Menzies acts right away . BTW, nice avatar. I was rofl when I read it.

The flooding resides so while it wont be the same old LA it wont exactly be totally flooded. In fact we'll probably see a new statue of balthazar there seeing as its the new entrance to the Rift/Hall of Heroes.
Due to the changed design in GW2 while Tyria will probably keep its same shape the environment will most likely differ greatly.

True, true, There will be changes here and there, like new statues, buildings in different places, but the general shape will probably be the same. Who knows, all that could be the same is the basic shape of the map and the type of terrain.

They are people who have done wicked deeds in life and have been given the punishment of having to serve as shepherds in guideing Spirits into the rift. What more needs to be said about them?

Nothing about them, but put them more into the game! I actually found it interesting, an Envoy with a Scythe, before dervishes *concept art for one of them, I'll look for the pic and post it later if possible*.

I won't call you wrong, just not completely right. The Undead Dragon is making it impossible to sail out of Tyria, yes. But I doubt it's sphere of influence extends much farther out to sea. Therefore the Deep sea Dragon would play a large part, especially if Canthan sea travel is interfered with. If it was, this could set up an interesting dynamic with the relation of Shing Jea to the rest of the empire.

And such rules of biology are scrupulously followed by fantasy writers, of course.

The undead dragon blocks off a path between Orr and the Ring of Fire Islands. That prevents trade between Tyria and Cantha, which is the trade issue that is talked about. Nothing is said about Cantha's trade with Elona, other then that Cantha has become an isolationist country, which implies no trading at all, which, if so, would be uninfluenced by the dragons.

The Undead Dragons forces are smack bang in the middle of the sea of sorrow. I doubt that they do not extend out to sea meaning that they would be the major force stopping people from sailing around. And considering the tenticles riseing out of rivers in Tyria, the Deep Sea Dragon is probably a lot closer to Tyria than Cantha or Elona.
